We need to build a firewall.

Or a literal wall of fire around Rotherham and Carlisle/Durham prison.

There's several benefits to this plan actually - I like it.

Surely the whole Omar thing will rest soley on how many potential travelling supporters he wants to play in front of, away at Middlesborough U21, in next years Sherpa Trade Paint Vase?

Cheltenham signing Winchester from us. Pretty gutted as there is a decent player in their but we don't get too see it much.

Never said they would.

They've never stopped as low as signing anybody from league two after half a season and can't see em doing it this year.

They'll more than likely replace Hogan with somebody like Zach Clough.

Didn't they sign Gray from Luton when they had just got promoted from the Conference and before he had even kicked a ball in League 2?

I can see no reason why Grimsby or Bogle would accept an offer now when they could have other offers before the window shuts in 3 weeks time.
I suppose they might want to have a certain amount of time to spend the Bogle money. Without the provision of a separate loan window the onus would be on Grimsby to get a decent replacement. Avoiding last minute panic buys might be preferable to the extra bit of money.

IF Grimsby decide that they are selling then they can go into the market in the knowledge a sale will be made now or in the summer. Their owner isn't poor and I'm sure he could afford to bridge the gap, especially as many deals are done in instalments. If I was them I'd sit on the Rotherham offer whilst looking for an alternative.

That's fair enough. I'm hoping that they don't sell ( unless it's to us :animatedf:) I reckon GY have got a better than fair chance of the playoffs and Bogle would be vital to that.

We've got 2 right backs but one is a teenager who often plays left back instead and the other one is shit and was absolutely hammered in public last weekend by our manager for making awful mistakes (and I quote) "AGAIN", so it would make sense for us to be in the market for a new one.

No news on Rov'rum's ''improved'' offer for Bogle yet? Now, I don't pretend to know how the interested in buying club contacts the selling club (is it via email or fax? Could it be perhaps through the official facebook page?) but I do know one thing, and that is that Grimsby didn't even bother to read the offer. Just one look at the sender is enough me thinks.

But then again, I make part of this thick as fuck forum* so what do I know?

The silly sods at Rotherham must have put a 2nd class stamp on it instead of a 1st so the bids been delayed...

We've matched Rotherham's bid which has thrown a spanner in the works, apparently.

The fact he can now drive must have sprung Keef into action!

Or they sent it by telegram and no one has had the heart to tell them they ended four years ago.
