Chorley have got Nathan Sheron back on loan till end of season from Fleetwood, good young central defender.

The Conference South this year is terrible. You have got Poole and Hungerford ground issues. You have Gosport and Margate in a financial mess. Truro once again how ground problems too!

Yet we still can't get out of it!

I see Billericay have signed Jamie O'Hara to go with Paul Konchesky. If we stay down and they come up, they will almost certainly beat us to the title next season. Rumour has it, they're after Carlton Cole too.

Amongst all these "big name" signings, they still have Billy Big Bollocks Bricknell and Rob "disgusted when players leave for more money" Swaine!

Kundai Benyu extends his loan until the end of the season. Massive for us, he's comfortably been our best player since Xmas.

Scott Loach was a weird one here. We were going to release him but ended up selling him to Watford for £50k.

He had a few England U21 appearances I think and was linked with a few PL Clubs but nothing came of it. Since then, he's not really spent any time anywhere and seemed to get moves off the back of he used to play in the Championship. Then a L1 Clubs would say they've signed a Championship GK, he'd drop a few bollocks there and move out on loan to a lesser L1 Club, do the same. Down to L2, do the same.

Seems to be slowly making his way down the football pyramid to whatever his level actually is.

Pleased to have Harry Anderson back. He's a good option to have, and with Ward being injured and his loan spell ending anyway next week, it keeps us at 4 wingers. Not sure Posh will be keeping him beyond this summer, which is no surprise if McCann reckoned he'd make a good RB because he quite clearly wouldn't.

You're forgetting that Peterborough just sign anyone who is half decent from down here.

Admittedly, he's one of the best strikers I've ever seen at this level since the Conference was formed in 2008.

All I'd question then is whether he is worth it at 28. All I can see is him becoming a sub and then dropping back down again.

Worth what? It won't be a costly deal. He's on a free isn't he?
Based purely on Saturday's one match I've seen Miller in, he's as good, if not better than Bogle.

They've got a lot of competition for him (supposedly Charlton and Notts Co), so you'd expect them to offer fairly high wages. It's a risk in terms of squad places too, because if he doesn't cut it, Peterborough are a decent striker short.

Maybe he is better than Bogle. Though Bogle is proven at League 2 and has at least 4 years on Miller, who should be in his prime.

I think what you've got with Miller is someone who's proven at Conference level so if it doesn't work at L1 level then a L2 Club would take a punt on him and if that doesn't work out then he'll fall back into the Conference.

Worth the risk on a free, albeit with decent wages I imagine.

Damian Reeves has left Altrincham, confirmed on his twitter account.

Sad, but not entirely unexpected. 4 league goals all season and would seem to want a fresh start, for which I can't blame him.

166 goals in 332 games in total

We've signed Harry White from Solihull.

Has absolutely nothing to do with the fact he's scored four goals for three different clubs against us.

Was very close to signing for us earlier in the season, failed his medical with what is apparently an ongoing issue. So good luck there. He is a very good striker but does have his issues with injuries.

Gutted White has gone. Really nice lad who did seem to have problems playing 90 minutes, but has the potential to be a class act at just 22. Scored some good goals for us - the best being that free kick against York a few weeks ago.
Will end up in FL at some point.

As well as White signing on, Shaw, Astles, Akintunde & Mahon have signed new deals with Shaw now player assistant manager taking over from Iwelumo, who has been offered a more suitable coaching role. Three youth lads have also signed professional deals as well. Busy day.

Strike force of White and Akintunde next season could be very good if they both stay fit. We're expecting to lose Alabi.

As expected, Ricky Miller will sign for Peterborough on a three-year deal once his contract at Dover expires.

Gutted to see Miller go, hope he takes full advantage of the opportunity - He deserves it. What a player. Been an absolute pleasure to watch all season and last.

Darren Carter has had his contract terminated by mutual consent, and has left the club. Been summarising for BBC radio Brum recently, so this was always coming.

Saw in another thread that Kane Richards was released - wasn't he supposed to be your main man at the start of the season? What went wrong there?

He has potential but hasn't really progressed as expected. Hasn't clicked in his own head and he easily gets frustrated throwing tantrums on the pitch if something goes against him.

Can still do a job at this level in my opinion but would expect a drop down a league.
