I'm assuming a few Clubs will be releasing theirs in the coming days, probably us included.

Meetings on Wednesday for our lot I think, so we'll probably hear something in the next week or so.

As in giving them new contracts? Or they're already contracted for another year?
That's madness if they're not willing to shake things up a bit.

Since we've pretty much signed our whole squad for next season, ours will be pretty short.

I actually wouldn't mind if we took him on
Depends what your aims for next season are? Average non league player who pulls rabbit out of the hat every now and then. Not good enough for a play off chasing side which should surely be wrexhams aim every season?

We've offered contracts to Russell Penn and Chris Dunn. Carrington and Rutherford already signed on. Everyone else released.

Leo Smith is on a contract too, and says he wants to speak to James Jennings about making him an offer.

All hail Keates' giant gonads for going that drastic..

Ah yes. I guess Marx etc are youth teamers and that's a separate decision?

I'd have kept White and Riley myself

Yeah pretty sure Marx, Harry and the others will still be on youth contracts.
Bit surprised at Riley and White but fair play if Keates thinks he can get better value for money. Both are those where you're pretty happy if they sign on but not hugely disappointed if they leave.

Dunn is a decent keeper at this level, I'd be ok with him first choice next season. Hope we sign Jennings too.

Happier offering Dunn something rather than Jalal.
He grew into the season Riley, but his previous form and associated issues with injury must have been a factor in that decision. Wages could well be the crucial factor with him and White though. Maybe they've informed Keates that they've got a move to another club lined up.

Jesus we've gone through some players in the last couple of years. Even Robbie Evans has finally been shown the door.

Looking forward to who comes in now, safe in the knowledge that they'll all be better than Michael Bakare.

Curtis Tilt, Hamza Bencherif and John Rooney are still out on loan for the moment, but have indicated that they will not be back at the club for next season.

With the Youth team having one more league match to play, at home to Bury next Saturday morning, details concerning the scholars will be held over until the start of next week.

We can though confirm that Olly Marx has joined Leo Smith in being offered a professional deal for 2017/18, after playing in seven of the last eight games this season.

Surprised about Durrell, he always seemed handy against us.

ETA Hope that other post means we're taking Tilt, think he's been excellent this loan spell. Might be on to better than us though.

Hunt off to Macc??
Not sure about that, seems to have come from the infamous Agent Mick on Twitter. I’d have kept Hunt as he’s had a better season although nothing particularly to write home about. Should be replaceable. Durrell was the biggest surprise to me, quite like him myself.

Six released, three loans back and likely Hughes and Alabi off. Makes 11 out in total whilst Marsh, Dawson and Davies are still a mystery. Letting go of some of the regular starters and keeping some weaker types (George, Joyce and Chapell) may look a bit weird but it looks like he’s content to just go again with them as the same backup whilst improving the quality of the starting XI.

He’s done himself a bit of good in the past two days acting quickly, which was needed.

The first player to announce they are leaving us is Declan Weeks. It wouldn't surprise me to see him rock up at Wrexham or Chester in pre-season given he lives down that way. Decent young ball-playing centre-mid who deserved better than to be caught up in our shitstorm. I'm expecting many more to follow his lead in the near future.

Couple of young lads, Andrew Wright and Keegan Everington, have said they're leaving. No surprise on those.

No doubt they'll do the same as many of our youth team players/released first year pros down the years and go PT with Boston, Trinity, Lincoln United etc.

Adam Boyes has tweeted he's left Guiseley. A great signing for York or Halifax (if they don't go up).

Darren Carter has left us 'by mutual consent'. Seems to be doing more punditry and probably coaching too, might be hanging his boots up.
