Never understood people slagging off wembley crowds personally because half of those are not proper supporters and probably never been to a football in their lives and only turn out for the occasion anyways.

Is an extra £20 really going to stop a fan from seeing their club at Wembley in one of the biggest games possible? I doubt it.

I didn't say it was totally irrelevant, but for a game of that magnitude, I think travel times/prices are far less of a decision maker/breaker than any other typical game.

Most we've taken anywhere is 32k to Old Trafford, but the Championship play off final would be a seriously expensive day out.

Yes I know I wouldn't expect you to take that many at all, no doubt some people will call you're support pathetic when you don't though. I think you would just about muster 30k which would be a very good turnout. The way I see it anyway trips to Wembley are just full of pretend fans jumping on the bandwagon with clubs taking 15/20k more than they get for home games.

17,522 season tickets sold, incredible for us, there must've been less than 10k home fans in attendance at our last home game just 12 months ago. This has been the first season since 1971 that we've averaged over 20,000, looks like it's going to be the new norm

Pathetic was probably not the right word, but I still think there should have been more for a city the size of Hull. As for the 4th trip bit, yes I could understand it if it was the 4th trip in a few months but it wasn't, it was also on a weekend so I expected about 35k from Hull. So for me it was a poor number from them. Just shows Hull is still a rugby city even though the football club is as successful as it has ever been.

We usually sold 9000 season tickets, but this was reducing a bit every year, so the increased crowds mean we're making more money from the reduced prices. We didn't rely on this happening though, Hoyle said it was possible due to the extra TV money this season. Any club that is increasing their prices should be demanding to know why.

They took less I think when we played them there in the fa cup semi, I'm sure they don't give a flying fuck as they beat us both. I personally don't think it's poor anyway as I said 10k more than average.
