Wow. The new investor better have someone special up their sleeve, or this won't go well.

Joke club. Even for our board's ineptitude, this is impressive.

This.

If anything, you'd have thought consistency with Garry Hill would have been better.

From the outside he appeared to do a very, very good job down there. Didn't he lead you to 7th when you was part time 2 seasons ago?

There is every chance he could be our next manager, given we will have new owners ourselves next week hopefully and he is an Essex man.

Do you reckon he'd be the right man for the O's?

"99 quid, what's the catch?"

Well I've now found out, get the fans in before we have some clueless idiot managing our team.

Yeah that's right.

He's constantly said that he isn't looking for another club. But who knows. You could do significantly worse than get Lord Hill.

Doesn't make any sense unless the new investors have money to burn.

Hill had Woking punching above their weight and they tried to play decent football rather than rely on thuggery.

Seriously sad decision and very poor way to treat loyalty

Conventienty left the bit out about Garry Hill rejecting numerous contract offers over the last 12 months.

"Woking Football Club has for many years been seeking external investment to help make the club more financially secure, give us access to wider expertise in football, and be more competitive on the pitch.

To this end we have partnered with Blackbridge Sports, a company that acts for UK and international investors in sports around the world, to bring investment into the club.

We are delighted to announce that investment has been agreed, and the transfer of shares in Woking Football Club Ltd held by the existing majority shareholder will go to a General Meeting for approval as per the club’s Articles of Association. That meeting will be held on a date to be decided towards the end of May, when the identity of the investor will be announced.

More announcements will follow in due course.

The Board of Woking Football Club‎

Chairman of Blackbridge Sports - Alexander Jarvis"

I won't be holding my breath until whoever it is has signed on the dotted line.

Sad news. Always liked a bit of the Hill down at Kingfield. Well suited club and manager. A natural fit .......to an unknown. Of a sports investment companies choosing.

Always had images of how good a booze up with Hill and Still would be. Maybe Chuck a considerable bit of Hakan in as well.
