People writing off Shots already, but they beat Tranmere 3-1 earlier this season and only need to go one better then that to take it to extra time. Early goal, pen with red card or something and suddenly all to play for. Not saying it's likely, but not impossible.

Our game could go either way, wouldn't shock me if it went to extra time and pens. That would be fun.

Back to the proper teams now, looking forward to tomorrow. We have nothing to play for, I have 0 expectations of us even drawing, let alone winning by 3, so just going to enjoy the day - I have got 2 pounds on us to win 4-0 to pay for my Wembley ticket though just in case.
It's been a great season for us and just hope the boys do us proud tomorrow, regardless of the result.

Most of us are more than aware that 3-0 is in no way an irreversible lead. I'll still be as nervous tomorrow as usual, and we need to be professional on the pitch. I'll begin to believe if we make it 4 or 5 on aggregate, but until then, we're vulnerable.

Think I mentioned it the other day, but I would be happy with an arrangement that we won by a goal, so that we could end the season on a high but Tranmere can enjoy their day out at Wembley (and increase our chances of fighting for the title next year). Anyone else in favour?

No chance. Oxford got 12k in the playoffs in 2010. There have probably been bigger ones too - anyone more knowledgable than me know if there have?

I don't get why you'd think it hurts, it's no news to us we're a village club and if anything our attendances are growing quicker than I thought was possible so I'm actually pleasantly surprised and less sceptical about the whole plan for a club capable of sustaining league football.

I haven`t mentioning us getting to Wembley. I am still nervous about today`s game and I`m certainly not taking it as "we are already there" like some people who have booked trains, hotels etc already. Too many things can, and sometimes do, go wrong. I just have a severe problem with clubs like Forest Green etc who are trying to buy their way in the FL and will offer nothing when they get there. while clubs far more deserving of League football are stuck in here often because of clubs like them. A rich mans play thing and ego trip.
