If it's true about Birmingham getting Ashley Cole, the combined age of their two left backs will be 74...

Iorfa gone to Ipswich on a season long loan, which makes no real sense. Was brilliant for us a year ago but has dropped off since. Either sell him or play him, a loan deal seems strange.

Also Bodvarsson has completed his move to Reading.
Pleased with the Iorfa signing, I guess the loan is to give him a chance to rediscover some form and then he'll either get back in your team or increase his value.

Disagree. I am pleased he's on loan. It's a Plan B if all our signings from Bacalhau or wherever turn out to be gash. We can get him back next season: three managers, much hype, 51 points, 12 months later. Iorfa lost his way last season. A month ago I'd have been pleased to see him move on, but I'm nervous. And cynical.

Both. He can be brilliant. But he makes mistakes. Hause is the same. I'm hoping he'll come back better and stronger.

Fee agreed for Ollie Watkins, £1.4m + add ons.

Our business has been brilliant this summer. Done early, which gives a lot of time for the new guys to settle in. Think we've got really good value for our signings, and there's a lot of future sell on potential with Watkins and Maupay, even Mokotjo if he proves himself.

We've moved on the deadwood / players on the fringe (Hofmann, Kerschbaummer, Gogia, Bonham, McCormack), and bought in in areas of need, all improvements on who we had before (Maupay, Watkins, Dalsgaard, Mokotjo, Daniels). Ready made replacements are already in place if anyone goes, but hopefully we've done enough to convince Dean and Jota to sign new contracts.

Don't think we'll see anymore signings, even if one or two players leave, as we've got cover in most areas now. If there's a bit of an exodus then we'll have to buy in but very confident of our chances this season.

Because you've signed two strikers now (Maupay and Watkins) is Vibe likely to leave?

Really hope we can get 2 from Morrison, Keogh, Bartley, Ayala or Hanley.

Not sure. He's in the last year of his deal, so we'd rather sell than lose him on a free, but reportedly contract negotiations are going well.

He'd still be our first choice striker IMO so I hope he stays, but if we got c.£3m for him it wouldn't be a terrible deal, and would effectively have paid for Maupay and Watkins.

Keogh's shit, why on earth would you want him?

He's a solid defender at this level, and he's a good ball player which we need as Loovens, as much as I like him takes about 30 seconds to pass the ball everytime he has it.

Is this definite as nothing concrete seems to have been announced, just more and more rumours?

He wasn't in our squad last night so I'm expecting him to go very soon but slightly disappointed at the fee of £1.4M. Any idea what the add ons are?

Either way, when he goes, I think Brentford could be a good move for him. If he plays regularly he will do well, I'm sure of that.

Nothing official announced, but being reported by ITKers on both sides.

No idea on the add ons - probably adds up to around £2-2.5m?

You bantering? Such a muggy thing to say you melt.

On paper he's 100% the type of centre back Weds are after. They shouldn't put all their eggs in one basket though and it looks like they've got a fair few targets. Think they'll have to do some grafting to prise him away from here mind.

I wouldn't slag him off Luke as he's a more than decent CH but he always gives the impression that he has a mistake in him. Admittedly, that's from a couple of 'in the flesh' views and a few on the tele. Would that be a fair comment or not?

Absolutely fair. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a defender at this level who doesn't have a mistake in their locker though, those who don't get snapped up and are playing in the league above. He's one of the main reasons we had one of the better defences in the league last year and no doubt will be if he stays again.

He'd be a good addition for anyone challenging for promotion IMO, probably have to replace him on getting promoted but that needs to be achieved first.

Keogh's an absolute bomb scare and most Derby fans have finally realised this now. He's not a leader so I've no idea why you made him captain and he's clumsy as fuck, always got a mistake in him. Wednesday could land a much better centre half and I bet they will do.

Keogh is shit when he's captain. Take that off him, and I'm happy for him to stay.

Never said Wednesday couldn't sign somebody better, I just can't believe people actually think he's shit when he's pretty good tbf. Don't take a few Twitter bashers' word, he's well rated here.

That's him and our Chris you've called out now, if Keogh and Martin are shit fuck knows what you think of your own players. :mell:

Alright Kem

You ken, as the Scots say. :bg:

Martin's a camel as well. You say that about our own players but the last two seasons we've had two better strikers than Martin and a better centre half so that's not really the issue - it's just the players around them really.

He rates Nick Blackman though, bless him.
 brilliant player.
