Looks as if that Celtic will meet Rosenborg for the second successive season should they both progress through their ties.

Cork City lost 1-0 away at Legia Warsaw yesterday, for anyone who's interested. Doesn't change much, they still need to score at home.

It was the home leg last night I think.

Comfortable 3-0 win for Celtic last night against the Armenians.

Could have gone either way, great performance from Cork given the opposition but I can't see them winning away.

One of Vales failed foreign experiment who became a cult hero (because he was so useless!) scores a hat rick in the Champions League...

Easy win for Celtic against a team of Armenian road sweepers, Rosenberg will no doubt be a much tougher test.

Who was that and who was the hat-trick for?

Rigino Cecilla for Suduva against Apoel

That is actually a really good result for a Lithuanian club seeing that Apoel and other Cypriot clubs progress a lot further in Europe than Lithuanian clubs do.

A real disappointment for APOEL going out 3-2 Suduva of Lithuania.
Definitely a shock as Lithuania has a UEFA country coefficient place of 41 and Cyprus of 19.
Despite not going through, TNS’s 4-0 must be one of the best ever by a League of Wales club.

Celtic 2-0 up in the second leg against the Armenians but a little naive to pick up a red card!

Looks like they'll be facing Rosenborg in the second qualifying round, could have been easier for them.

I'd say that all 3 of your bets to win are underdogs in these ties!

Bit of an early scare but a very good result in the end against a tricky opponent for Celtic, they should get the job done over in Norway. The next round will be a real tough test though, a trip to Greece isn't the most friendly atmosphere.

Wow. Basel crash out 5-1 on agg to PAOK tonight. Means if Benfica fail to qualify Liverpool will move up to Pot 2 in the CL Draw.

Celtic currently 0-0 in Norway with around 55 minutes gone in Norway.

Solid result for Celtic, didn't catch the game but reports seem to suggest they weren't great but effective enough to get the job done, hopefully AEK Athens will do them next round. Aren't they the Greek champions? Be a tough test and they could have definitely had easier at this stage. Benfica V Fernerbache is a fantastical game for this stage of the competition.

As much as I despise Malmö 1FF it would be great to see a Swedish team in group stage.
They should be able to kick out Vidi FC, they got a few good players.

Johan Dahlin is a decent goalkeeper, they got a couple of good old-timers in defense like Safari and Bengtsson with Oscar Lewicki a very underrated DMC.

Up front Rosenberg, Carlos Strandberg and Marcus Antonsson should be able to score some goals.
