Halifax keeper had a great game? He only made two saves all game that I can recall of. A header straight at him in the first half and the one where he tipped it over on the highlights in the second half.

What your highlights don't show is Edwards getting through 3 times on goal for us and taking too long to get a shot away. There was one, particularly he would have probably scored had he done so.

Will give you some credit though. You played some nice football around the back and in midfield but ran out of ideas in the final third. Just resorted to potshots really.
he also fingertipped that shot onto the bar just before the tip over - that was the main great save

Halifax slightly lucky looking at the highlights and nice to see some of the encouraging comments coming from some Halifax fans, Had the Havant keeper been in nets for Halifax it would have been different - but fair play to the Halifax keeper who had a great game
He barely had a save to make! Sure, lots of shots but all from outside the box and off target. Our defenders kept you at a safe distance from goal. Just beaten fair and square by a better side. :ds:

Goal fest between Leamington and Bradford (Park Avenue). Leamington were 3-0 up with 3 minutes to go, Bradford pulled two back before Leamington scored again to make it 4-2 in added time. Some cracking goals in this one and a great game.

Dear Brotherhood president,

I do feel that Chesterfield FC, an honorary member of the Football League Brotherhood, are not following the first golden rule of the organisation, which is to get completely and utterly humiliated by a smaller club in the first throngs of the season. This was stipulated in the Brotherhood membership package which was delivered to Derbyshire upon relegation.

It is with great regret that they are not yet in a position to empathise with other proper clubs who've had their good name dragged through the dirt with its endearing followers duly taken the piss out of and verbally humiliated in public houses, or on public transport by plastic premiership fans in the proper town/city in which the proper club bases itself.

It is of my opinion that if Chesterfield FC wish to assume an active part in the organisation, in solidarity with the other members, that they must lose to a tinpot club very soon, as this has not happened yet, I am concerned that their role within the brotherhood may need further consideration. They should also be aware that games are often thrown in favour of the other brotherhood member when playing each other for the greater good.

I trust in their full compliance with the brotherhood doctrine.

Ta
They heard you, my friend, and they just did...…..

What did you think of the Penalty shout?

Gave us a nervous last 10, we seem to invite so much pressure late in games as shown with late goals against us from yourselves, Barrow and Ebbsfleet. Need to sort that out as we seem to panic.

I was stood right in front of that & myself and many others thought it was a penalty. Our Number 10 (Paxman) definitely tripped your player......i was laughing when the ref booked him for diving.

the highlights pretty much show what we already knew - a lot of good passing play - just couldn't get the ball in the net.. still 7 points from 5 games and out number 1 striker not played yet this season, so looking positive - and Braintree at home next
