The only saving grace we had by having Dave Allen at the helm is that we know he has money, so the club was in a secure place in terms of ensuring we wouldn't go under...

If this deal goes through, im not confident that this consortium will be well capitalised from the little bit of research I've done this morning...

This could well be the beginning of the end:surr::surr:

Just praying some oil rich Arab walks through the door instead :ohn:

Aye by all accounts they don't have a money man, and could well be chancers buying the club on the cheap, hoping we get back to the FL so they can shift us on for a profit. Will end badly this I fear

Certainly going to get worse before it gets better. The rumour are not great, the details of the alleged deal are concerning and those lurking in the background are even more worrying..

Certainly looking to be a huge gamble at best, an asset strip and adios to the club at worst.

That is a superb article on Chesterfield. As much as it was a shithole I enjoyed Saltergate, think our last visit there was that mental 4-3 win when Goater and Eastwood were on fire.
I wish every fan of Chesterfield the best of luck, incredibly avoidable what has happened to you.

Fined by the Fa for playing an ineligible player...Joe Rowley for 39 games. Including 2 games this season.

Fuck me, it’s never ending

5k fine and that is it per you OS.
That is the FA fine. The National League are now investigating this as 2 of the 39 games were this season, where we picked up points.

Oh dear.

Is Dave Allen no longer the saviour then?
He’s not been for 3 years. Doesn’t even show up to his pigeon racing anymore after someone took a swing at him.

We will go to the wall as things stand. The ground is owned separate by him, as is the hospitality side so he doesn’t even need a football team anymore.

as he signed the contract before he was 18 he needed parents counter signature and they never did

looks like you have just blamed someone who no longer works for you - standard get out clause for any walk of life :D

The blame culture from Ashley carson if anybody but him is incredible. He’s running out of people to throw under the bus

Just seen Martin Allen's 'statement'...

He's mental, isn't he? So he signs a bunch of players from London and then says that them living in London is an issue - won't elaborate on why that's now the case. Sounds like he's just fallen out with most of them.

Also says he's sick of people saying they played well but didn't get the points - surely that's only him saying it?

I hope none of those transfer listed players are mates with our boss Evatt, as from what I saw, they are dreadful. Zavon Hines may be a decent signing for someone in this league, but none of the others would.

Robbie Weirs been on the transfer list there about 20 times now. He's been awful for years, suprised he hasn't ended up somewhere like Matlock.

The three London based players will no doubt end up scattered between Dover, Sutton, Maidstone, Ebbsfleet, Dagenham and Boreham Wood.
