Browne is better currently but you can't have one player for one position, he's put in far better performances than anything I've ever seen from Harrop.

Hoping he resigns, doubt he will though.

I don't think KP realises just how good he can be. Whether the constant loans / change of clubs has affected him remains to be seen but, after a pre season under LJ, I would love to see him join BCFC IF he can be fitted into our pattern of play and is prepared to do the defensive stuff as well as the attacking.

Only played twice, I thought he looked good but we're happy to move Rudd on. Muric was probably something we didn't want to pass up on, probably wouldn't have bothered otherwise.

But remains to be seen if Ripley is No.1 standard.

Nixon saying City are doing a Liverpool and they're putting in hefty fines if Muric doesn't play enough, so maybe his deal to Forest isn't done. Not sure if i'd want him here with those terms but seems we're still after him.

Also confirmed we're looking at Hugill but the wage contribution is the problem, Leeds, Sheff Wed & Wigan also mentioned as interested parties.

We are being linked with Marc Bola of Blackpool in a few places. He is a left back so a likely replacement for Justin when he inevitably leaves.

Wouldn't surprise me if we are waiting for that to all get done before bringing in a few more players as bar that rumour there has been little else anywhere that I have seen.

Not that fussed about Hugill, more than happy with Fletcher and Nuhiu as target man options, don't feel it's a position we really need to worry about too much. We need to move on one of Winnall or Rhodes before we even consider signing another forward imo.

Wouldn't say Hugill is a targetman, he's a got good pace, occupies defenders and is constantly on the move.

Wouldn't really associate him with winning headers and making it stick.

Szmodics has an offer from us, Derby and Hull on the table reportedly after turning down Posh's offer so we'll probably find out his choice before the end of the week.

We supposedly have three completed deals waiting to be announced, hoping upon Da Silva and Kalas' return they'll be two of them but it's eerily quiet on that front.

I'd imagine one is Oztumer and I'm hopeful the other is Lockyer although, not holding my breath.

Still in for Lameiras too but has hit a stumbling block, think it’s called Roland Duchatelet.

We have rejected a £4million offer from Sheffield United for Freeman. I think Boro offered £6m in January (apparently) so I would expect our asking price to be around the £8m mark.

2 million is still not enough, but that will limit how much we can get for him, unless there was some automatic extension upon promotion.
