Can't wait for tomorrow. First time back in this league for 30 years. I just hope this time it's longer than a year! Hopefully start with 3 points but it will be tough against Bromley. Tuesday's a biggie as well against Fylde, we always beat them as well :shifty:
You were in this league in the late 80s for 2 seasons, not one!

Think we might become the first team ever to draw all 46 games 0-0. Reckon we will stay up with that?

Only been given just over a thousand tickets for Wrexham away. Do they not give you that away stand any more, the one with the scoreboard blocking your view?

No, considering average away fan following is about 37 in this league.

What's crack with County allocation? Only been sent 450 and it's just been made all ticket. That's surely not our lot is it? And why on earth is that all ticket?

The police have finally adopted the common sense approach here. The end behind the goal easily generates the most noise and our singing element tend to congregate there. Previously, when we've given the end behind the goal to a large away following we've split our singing section up into the 2 side stands.

I'd expect a bumper crowd for this one of around 7k and undoubtedly a few scuffles in the street.

450 is the capacity of each block in the Pop Side, the allocation is usually 1½ or 2 so I imagine the second block would go on sale once it looks likely the first would sell out. If necessary they might move ST holders out of the middle block and give you a third, but it's been a while since anyone brought that many to EP. The Railway End isn't used these days btw, even if it were it's reduced to around 900 anyway.

I'd expect our allocation to sell out fairly easily since there's a positive mood about the place, I don't suppose it could be extended?

That's top and bottom I reckon, so no, that's all you'll get. Surprised you've been given the bottom tier.

You've always been punching above your weight mate, you're a small town with Watford, Arsenal and Spurs on your doorstep.

Unless you do a Fleetwood/Salford you will forever be getting low crowds and be Ryman Premier levels in terms of crowd numbers.

Clubs like this shouldn't even be in this league- they've bought their place here at the expense of better supported clubs, who have an actual point to there existence! :ds:

We now enter day 70 since the last update on our takeover by a man who has previously been a director of 36 (THIRTY SIX) companies which have been liquidated or struck off. The last update was a few days before the end of the early bird season ticket offer :pond:

We're still in the absolute shite.

They're not exactly a fan friendly club anyway, are they? Being a little more friendly and community orientated isn't going to being the fans in their droves but it might make a bit of a difference.

They're not punching above their weight! They're performing pretty much as you'd expect from an outfit that can spunk £1.2million over the summer.

If they were doing it on match day income and commercial revenue, like REAL football clubs have to do, THEN they'd be punching above their weight. :£:£:£:£:£:£

County's allocations for Wrexham away next Saturday is sold out. Hardly a surprise with only 1050 tickets available.

Just pay on the day and go in the same stand in the home end.

Some comments from our manager in the pre-match press conference.

"Any points in August while we're still recruiting and learning are a bonus. Really we're in July with the time we've had to recruit and prepare. I'm pleased with our wins and the early signs, but disappointed with the injury list."

"Rhys Murphy and Lee Collins won't be available. Craig Alcock will be fine but we've put a report into the National League about the two elbows he received at Barrow"

Quite right too, they should have been red cards.

Only complaining about elbows?
Blimey.....you have a lot to learn about this league and the refereeing.

If we manage 6 points over the weekend it could well be a sellout.

Otherwise I'm expecting around 7000.

Harrogate v County - we already dicked them at their place last season, Harrogate have lost three on the trot, if County can't pick up a point today I'll be disappointed tbh

Just pay on the day and go in the same stand in the home end.
Don't think there's much danger of that, it took a while to sell out so pretty much anyone who wanted to go will have got a ticket.

Bromley should be more concerned about their pitch should they continue to do well

The club have already said that they'd lay grass as soon as the season finished if we got promotion to League Two.
