Pete Wild appears to have pulled off a minor miracle in his ten days or whatever it is at the helm. But a very reassuring friendly win and the best result in all the professional leagues this weekend, against a side expected to struggle, will be part of a patchy record if followed by a loss at home to Hartlepool. Keep in mind that despite the four goals on Saturday, we lack a proven goalscorer anywhere on the field.

The manager hopes to be getting in a new player for tomorrow, which we've heard dozens of empty times with the last two managers, but carries a renewed promise with this chap. In the 5:1 chance it's The Evil striker Devante Rodney then everybody in Halifax will catch the B2TF disease for at least a week.

I'm just really excited to see us at home. Usually 1,300–1,400 home fans turn up for that midweek game, but people sound excited and I'd hope with another Brotherhood side we'd want to cram a few more in. We haven't played at home all pre-season.

Forget the Clarke goal, did you SEE the run Earing made for that 3rd goal! Or that sweet, sweet Maher shot for the second! Did you see how many passes we were putting together, how many men we were getting into the box! The guys on here have NO IDEA what's about to hit them. :bdick::bdick::bdick:

Huge game for FC Halifax, always is for them when they play us. Very confident on their messageboard it seems and they're hoping for a gigantic crowd of 1700 for this. :bravo:

I'm going to watch us lose 2-0 to Maidenhead in what looks to be the worst ground I've ever stepped foot in. Buzzin.

You own website says it's the 127th fixture between us and admits we've won the most often. We like playing Hartlepool, they're about the only club in the Brotherhood even more shit than we are.

By the way, were acknowledging your status as worthy opponents by granting you the North Terrace, it remains to be seen if you can match the honour with appropriate numbers. :bdick:

Actually petal, it's the 5th fixture between us and apart from having a few more re-elections than your defunct club, we'd spent more time in higher leagues than you and have 3 times the supporter base. So yeah, much shitter

Anyway, enjoy your cup final. I do think you'll win tonight. Not sure how many we'll take, think Saturday's result might've put a few off.

Actually fruitcake, I think you'll find your club is correct. Ask the FA: 01283 576200.

Go on. I dare you.....:bdick:

Actually when we were both in the Football League, ours were rather better than yours, even though we share our town with one of the great Rugby League clubs. Let's see what yours look like when you've been a non league club for 16 years.....

The sign of the tinpotter is when they actually know the dates of the 2 fixtures against you. As well as their record against you etc.

Thanks for clearing me pal. I know when we're playing one game against both of you, because one's tonight and the other's next Tuesday. I didn't know the other stuff till i read it on the monkey hangers website, this afternoon. I'll have forgotten it by the weekend

Thanks again buddy. :brill:

We’re going to piss this tinpot league by only scoring penalties. It will make Akinde’s exploits in 14/15 pale in comparison.

Okay, I’m starting to get it with the refereeing. Your man won’t give a foul for anything. It is at least consistent for both teams, but if the ball is in the air you appear to be able to challenge for it with a people’s elbow or moonsault.

Very good game this. We look amazing going forward but I'm still concerned by Boreham Wood's attacking presence. Could do with another.

So far so good, we have too much movement and control in midfield for Sutton. Problem is we have no strikers on the pitch and no one prepared to take a shot.

Could easily get caught by a sucker punch but I'm hoping we keep taking the game to them and exploit the space later.

Hopefully Mason-Clarke and Jack Taylor will find more space in the second half as Sutton have to gamble a bit and will have to stretch their formation a bit.
