Fair result that, better side won - even with 10 men.

We’ll be mid table again this season.

Wrexham won’t score enough goals to trouble the top 7 IMO

We won't score enough to trouble whoever wins the title.

I'm confident we'll be in the play offs by the end of the season.

Yeah, comfortably play offs. Solihull and Fylde will contend the title.

WTF! Were you even at the game! Will on top, second half, one slip at the back had cost us. I'm sick to death of Town coming out with this shit! :ffs:

Harrogate 0-2 Notts. Absolutely vital win for us, for many reasons.

Solihull hit the front. 20 to 1 I got them at. I cant get my head around it. 2nd in the league last season, sign the second best striker in the league and they were 20/1.

Chief, how did we play? We deserve a point or not. I got ridiculed for saying Toure was class and he'd 20. Well, only 17 left

Wouldn’t taken a point and would probably have been fair. That’s three injury time winners for us this season already. Never easy.

Harrogate unbeaten in their first 10 last season. Lost 2 already this term, surprised by that

Not a chance there's 7 teams better than us, scoring goals or not. We'll get in the playoffs based virtually off our home form alone. The Racecourse is an absolute fortress, we've lost 5 games in the last 47 there.

You got no idea what's coming your way. :ds:

In the end the answer to this was a nailed on mid-table/relegation-threatened side that we know how to see off in our sleep, even with being reffed out the whole way through and scoring even with 10 men.

Result has released the pressure that was building up, simply got to be beating these sort of sides on a regular basis if we want to be in the top 7.

who makes a double substitution that early - does seam rather strange?
He basically admitted that he’d got it wrong. Lots of booing at the end and Taylor Out chants. He has to go. Nowhere near good enough. Boreham Wood tore us a new one with Tshimanga, Marsh and Mingoia making us look ridiculous.

Another home game, another home defeat. This time at the hands of Woking FC.

Our plight into the abyss continues. Feel for Sheridan, had none of the backing he was promised at all.

Just a feeling of numbness across the whole fan base, losses don’t even hurt anymore they’ve become that much of a regular occurrence over the past 4 years.

Hopefully shez keeps us up again but that’s as much as we can hope for due to the state of our playing squad.

Hessenthaler has built a team very much in his grizzled image, you’re awkward fuckers to play against. You never let us settle into any sort of rhythm at all. Moreover, Curries’s subs made us worse whereas Hess’s improved you and you were the better side in the last 10 minutes.
We need to develop a Plan B,

I knew it was going to be one game too far on Saturday. We looked knackered last 15 minutes. Disappointed to have not got at least a draw though against 10 men. Just hope it doesn’t affect our confidence.

Fyldefan you had a lot of possession for periods but without doing much, whereas we looked a threat on the break. 2-0 up we started to look comfortable then out of nowhere bang 2-2.

Then we miss two sitters to win it. We just love to fuck it up.

We have a very good squad and Hess is using it well. Made loads of changes every game so far meaning we have plenty of fresh options off the bench each game which I think is paying dividends.

For what it’s worth I think Barnet look a good side and will do well this season.

I don't know how much more I can take to be honest. Not of non league, just of the constant shit served up and humiliation. It's been absolutely constant for 4 years. It's just draining and soul destroying, such an incredibly sad story for a club that was on the cusp of championship football. We've never been a great team but we've at least fucking tried and shown some heart. I've never known such horrible shit so constantly in all my years as a chesterfield fan

Are they better than Dagenham?

There is no enjoyment anymore at all. I don’t know a single chesterfield fan who enjoys going to games anymore, we just do it because it’s in our blood!

Initially I was against the idea of a Phoenix club but I just cannot see a turning point / way out for us at the moment. The club is rotten to the core, not a single person in that boardroom gives a toss about this club or its fans.

Long gone are the days of heroes such as Moss, Davies, Lormor, Lester etc who people used to love turning up and watching... we’ve now got footballers who wouldn’t even stand out in the division below in Curtis Weston, Robbie Weir, Josef Yarney, Joe Rowley etc.

Like I said, best we can hope for us that Sheridan keeps us up again but then we’ll have the same problems again next year so what’s the point
