They'll make a change this week, not a chance we get to a home game next Saturday with Hughes still in charge. Fans are after blood now.
Can't wait for Carlos Edwards to get the job next.

We have a real toxic element in our fan base albeit small, the racism, the trying to get at the ref during the game, throwing punches at Dover players going down the tunnel, what’s makes it worse is our own fans trying to defend these actions.

I’m utterly ashamed to follow Pools tonight, the result turned out to be irrelevant.

Spot on. My last game before Saudi and I leave with that. I knew we'd get beat but what unfolded was the most disgraceful day I've seen at the Vic in 24 years of going.

The ref was the worst I've ever seen granted but to chase him around the square? The racism. let's not kid ourselves, we've all heard it before and I stand by that it's got worse at Pools since Brexit.

There are a number of utter rarfs who follow us at home (away as gold as gold) and they need digging out before the town and club get dragged into the gutter further.

We'll get a fuck off fine and it'll be deserved. I also hope Gus Mafuta still fancies turning out for us but i'll understand if he doesn't. It's a minority yes but a minority is too much. So what if the bloke is being a dickhead celebrating like a poncy charver, he might be black, why does it matter? Have a go at him being a grade A cock not because he's black. my god. Sickens me. The whole day.

Christ, I was having kittens listening to the last 10 minutes of that. We’ll need to loan in what will be our 5th keeper of the season in time for Tuesday

Bromley Vs Notts

Worst start possible conceding in 2 mins. Should of been two down not too long after. Then last 20 mins of the half we looked clearly the better side capped with a lovely finish from Kyle. Played some nice stuff on the deck

Second half we just never turned up, Bromley stopped paying us respect and siting off us and fair play they stepped up their performance.

We never got on the ball, never got up the pitch. When we passed it we looked decent and created good opportunities. When we went long the two Bromley beasts at the back just lapped it up with ease.

With injured key players we looked all over the place at back. Baka was poor, expected a lot more from Rose. J'OB was Notts best player (serious injury?)with Wooton. Dennis had one good effort but not much else, enzio the same with one good run.

I think we had 32 corners and honestly didn't threaten once, in fact they often set up a home side attack.

Great weather, good turnout

The Shay has always been a tough place for us - especially with a player like McAlinden who is on fire at the moment.

We’ve improved recently and we’ve got Vilhete working his way back to fitness which is a huge plus. Next 6 games are all big now:

Ebbsfleet away (despite form, they have decent individuals)
Solihull home (big solid team - always difficult for us)
Fylde away (again - very decent individuals)
Dagenham away (strong forward line)
Bromley home (unbeaten)
Woking home (team of the season so far)

Doubt any other team in the league has a set of fixtures like that coming up. Defining part of the season ahead. They’re all Tues-Sat games too.

Solid point away to Torquay. Hanging in the mix. Now need to kick on and try and close the gap to the top few.

we have beat both of those teams in the last 2 games by 3-0, if you can play football on the deck you have a great chance of 6 points.

Game changed the moment King Cameron stepped onto the pitch. Suddenly we're opening them up and getting at them. Best player in this league by a MILE. :ds:

If it stays like that you're in the bottom 4 - would that seal Hughes fate?

I think Wrexham have been in this league too long, it's time they moved on. The drop could be the shake up they need and plonkers like MASTER d and The CHIEF (you a pattern there?) need a dose of humility. :db:

Maidenhead lucky to get a point today, really sloppy all over the pitch and no quality whatsoever in the final third - Bernard Mensah starting to look like a massive flop - hasn't shown anything since joining on loan despite a strong record at this level. Need another winger and CM, I'm not sure why Fumnaya Shomotun (who looked good on trial) wasn't signed up in the summer - still a free agent.

there should be a rule that if your a Welsh club and drop out of the EFL and can't get back within a certain time you have to join the League of Wales

It was squeaky bum time that's for sure. It was up the other end but Wilko made what looked like a world-class save at one point. Broke his nose as well. He was immense today.

Fucking sad situation at Pools. Heard the black lads at Pools threw their shirts off in disgust at F/T in the tunnel, the Dover players getting swung at by some in the CK and now some fans are blaming the ref for allowing all that shite today.

Yes he was a disgrace but come on no excuses, racism and chasing the c*** around. Fuck off. I'm angry and I will be until the club acts on this. In fact it's not just us it's society, it's broke.

Few of ours got banned for racially abusing Dover players as well. What is wrong with people?

I know Kioso went off shirtless he was sporting one of those running bra things, Mafuta went down the tunnel with his shirt on, if it's true I get it and it's not a big deal at all, Mafuta was clearly affected by what went on in the first half, he understandably didn't look the same player in the second half.

Football wise Dover looked okay, I didn't think it was a penalty at the time but seeing it back it was the right decision, that Effiong skies his attempt and we gift them a penalty with a clumsy challenge, the one on Toure though, I know we get some penalties in our time down here but fucking hell, their lad clatters him from behind, it's more of a penalty every time I see it.

We did everything but equalise, 3 kicked off the line, hit the post, handball's in the box clearly missed and then the ref completed his mental breakdown by sending everyone off.

An unlucky day on the pitch, reffed by the worst ref I've ever seen watching Pools and a dark day off it.

Happy enough with that as half our team are still crocked. We had slightly the better of the first half without really creating anything and you had the better of the second, again without really creating much.

Once we get our midfield back fit I feel we can compete for the play-offs which would be a decent season in my eyes.

If Hartlepool don't deal with this matter appropriately they deserve to be punished, but I'm confident they will and the club shouldn't be punished for the actions of a small, stupid minority.

Hopefully the police are involved.

I hope the league/FA throw the book at us TBH like Soup said earlier, the bile from some people has never left them, it's just slowly started to creep out again, whether that's due to the political climate who knows? there's a lot of thick, sheltered people who follow Pools who've never left the town in their lives and it shows, I can only see things changing if the club get's punished directly, they've said they'll lifetime ban those identified and I'd imagine the Police will be pressing charges too.

It's laughable that yet again the opposition fans accuse us of shithousing. Aww, are you hurting? It's called real life, don't be such a fucking snowflake.

Truth be told mate it's been going on a fair bit, there's some right divs following us - you know that from what you said on here before. This time we got caught out and tbh it's not a bad thing we did. It highlights there's a problem. But it's much wider than just banning individuals which the club will do. Hartlepool is an outpost on the Durham coast, there's not all that many outsiders. Ripe territory for ignorant views and when life is shite it brings out this crap, emboldened by the current state of affairs in this sorry country. We are not the only place affected by this by any means and we can see a trend across the country. But today is inexcusable and I'm disgusted.

Sadly this is so true. Southend have had problems recently as well, not home but away a small moron minority who seem to think it's ok to racially abuse our own players. What makes it more brazen is the sizeable increase in black fans following us away, this has though led to the majority of fans calling out the idiots and having them removed from games.

Joe Johnson has always come across as an arrogant and inept referee when I’ve seen him in action. From the reports of the Pools v Dover game, doesn’t seem to have changed.

The one they showed on highlights was a blatant penalty that he didn’t give.

He’s Collina compared to Sam Allison though.

According to the Dover players on Twitter he literally said to them the abuse they got was their fault for over celebrating. Says it all.
