And on the topic of skipping the first few seasons... I just can't. I hate the thought of watching something midway through. I know, it's hardly as if it's got some big chronology to follow, but fuck it.

I'm like that myself, if I'm going to watch something I'll watch it from the start, in the case of something like South Park you may miss an in-joke from an earlier episode later in the series and that annoys me.

The Shield is a great show when it gets going. Really enjoyable stuff. Not sure if Shawn Ryan is working on anything else at the moment but when he gets into something he's pretty good at making shows work

And South Park is brilliant. It got better after the (utterly fantastic) film and never looked back. Need to catch up with it myself not watched it for a while

The Shield is excellent Chris, I'm thinking of rewatching it one day.

Enjoying it so far bud. I like the older camera work and the lat 90's look to it. Storyline is enough to keep you interested without being absolutely brillant. I like the battle between Dutch/Aceveda/Vic.

The intensity does build and build and there are some explosive episodes to look forward to. I still have to get Sons Of Anarchy as that is supposed to be very good also.

Ironically, I am nearly at the end of SOA. It's well worthy of a watch. Literally, the entire cast of The Shield, bar Vic seem to feature in SOA at some point! Couldn't believe how many!

Aye a friend of mine was telling me that, it would be worth watching just to see them again! :D

Having just had a little google, it seems Kurt Sutter the producer/writer of SOA was a big Shield scribe. All 4 of the 'strike team' are in SOA at some point, without trying to spoil it for you haha.

Just watched last weeks' Gold Rush.
I love the relationship Gene has with Parker, its one of respect mixed with master and apprentice.

Also glad the fact he found another pay streak, he is much more calculated than Todd.

I hope he buys some ground for next season.

Dont know what it is with Walsall fans and this programme but its just too addicive!! Ran out of episodes now and cant wait for the next series.

Sons of Anarchy series 5 and Better Call Saul will help pass the time. :)

I love it, have they confirmed season 6?

I can see why the guys are so annoyed at Parker, but if he puts a little extra gold in their pockets and guarantees them a slightly higher gold share on his own ground. Surely everyone is a winner?

I also am skeptical on how much gold the haul road actually had, I am calling BULLSHIT

Just finished watching The Enfield Haunting, only 3 episodes but was brilliant with Timothy Spall in fine form as usual. There was a few scenes that made me jump or give me goosebumps i advise you to watch it if you like a good ghost story. 9/10.

Vikings series 3.

If sheild maidens wasn't bad enough ( never happened) but one of them giving orders in battle to Viking warriors? Just f*ck off! 4/10.

I'm about 7 or 8 episodes into South Park now, and it is growing on me I'd say. I'm still yet to find anything side splittingly hilarious and I find a lot of the humour to not really have much too it (CHRISTMAS POO, LOL) but at least like their voices don't irritate me anymore, so it's got that going for it.

Watched the last episode of Safe House last night, it started off well but became dull and the ending was so predictable. 5.5/10.

Not sure if they air the 'after show' stuff at the end of the series here like they do in America, but yeah - or at least if Discovery picks it up they will. It shows clips of the aim for next season, who has what ground etc. It's one of discoveries biggest ratings pulls so I'd expect it to be on regardless until they decide to quit on it. Sadly, it's not back until 'The Fall'.

Just started watching Game of thrones, watched the first 2 episodes finding it interesting at the minute, guessing the real action is yet to come.

Made the mistake of watching Benefits Street and Skint Merthyr Tydfil earlier

We need state sanctioned compulsory euthanasia. Vote departed user for PM 2020.

I tend to think programs like this are sanctioned by the gubmint to keep the majority working & middle class people angry at those on benefits so they don't focus their anger on the bankers, execs and officials taking all their money and rights. Divide and conquer

Strike Back series 4, bit silly now.

Still continuing with my South Park watch, and yeah, I'd actually say I'm quite a fan now. And the cool thing is, I'm still not on what is apparently the "good stuff" as I'm only half way through season 2.

By the way though... I randomly saw a later episode, and everybody sounds fucking waaaaay different. DAFUQ.

I've been re watching Breaking Bad. Still a pretty good show to watch second time around but some of the inconsistencies in the characters, particularly Gus, are really annoying me, even more than last time.

Is there anywhere I can watch Game of thrones online?

Watch series online. The stream gets stuck sometimes but it's not too bad. When choosing what to watch it on use videoweed as that's usually the best. You can watch ant tv series back to the 1960's on it as well.

Tried it today, went onto videoweed and it's saying the video no longer exists after watching the first advert. If you could recommend another please I'd appreciate it mate!
