How many have Chesterfield allocated Preston?

I heard Sheffield United have only gave Swindon the bottom tier - not that they'll sell it anyway.

Be surprised if we take much more than 1k. Thursday night, up north, on telly etc.

Not the best averages home or away from us this year. We normally take good away followings too. Such a northern league this year though, but still a little disappointing anyway, especially given the season we've had.

Very, very sad that MK Dons had a higher average home crowd than us this season.

From 14/15 figures, Bury would be between Rochdale and Mk Dons on away support - 466 average.

And between Oldham and Colchester for net home fans - 3,389

We would have been the 18th best supported club in the league this year #MASSIVE.

From 14/15 figures, we would have the 23rd highest away figures in this league :woo:

Highest Percentage of Fans at an Away game - 89.1% Oldham at Rochdale
Lowest Percentage of Fans at an Away game - 0.008% MK Dons at Oldham

Sorry to be a nerd, but those percentages didn't look right, so I had a check...

Looking at Rochdale v Oldham, the crowd as per the BBC was 7,269. At 89.1%, that would have made the away attendance 6,477 as opposed to the 3,250 (44.7%) per the tables.

The crowd for Oldham v MK was 2,445. Which at 0.008% would put the MK following at 0.2! The actual 66 works out as 2.7%, a percentage more befitting of a Championship club.

Depends :

Oldham net home 3,645 : 3250/3645 =89.1%
MK Dons net home 8479 : 66/8479 =0.77%

I meant, the highest/low percentage of home fans taken to one away game, i.e Oldham took 89.1% of their average home crowd to Rochdale, and MK Dons took 0.77% of their average home crowd to Oldham. Hope that makes sense.

I know it will have been boosted by our MASSIF away following, but even so I don't think MK quite managed an 825,000 average attendance

We still had 400 tickets left last night for tonight's game. Poor.

Comes as zero surprise to me, everyone is sick of the fuckers

Yeah it's understandable. If we hadn't fucked it up on Sunday and had been confirmed play offs for a few weeks, we'd have sold out in a day.

Aye - we got shredded on here for only taking 1,600 to Chesterfield
Yours was the final away game of a successful season and not televised mind.

This is a game 4 days in the making and on the back of a 3k following to Colchester very different beasts my friend.

However failing to sell out would be wank.

The game was a nothing game for us - it's everything for Preston.

I see the argument about it being televised etc etc - but if they do take only 1,600, in the circumstances of it all, it reflects far worse than ours.

Most clubs sell out the last away day though, surely, we managed 2.2k at Watford.

It's not really "everything" for Preston though is it? they have the home leg.

It's a Thursday night four days after an expensive away trip that was their "everything".

Considering their whole season lies on these two games - I'd label it as massive.

I agree though - we should have sold out.

What's the big deal?

Everyone knows Preston could sell out easily if their fans were up for it, they took 3K to Colchester so are more than capable of selling out Chesterfield.

It's obvious their fans are on a downer and spirits are low.

Nothing wank about it. Everyone is the same when following their football club.

People 'having a go' at Preston for not selling out when the reasons why are obvious.
