Ancelotti is surely far too good for them? Like, you don't usually go from winning the European Cup and coaching the likes of Ronaldo, Bale and Jay Rod, to rocking up at a club to cast your eye over the likes of Jordan Henderson, Jordon Ibe, and that Brazilian half-man who does something worthwhile every ten games or so. Just can't see it at all, it'd be a huge step down for a manager who can pretty much have his pick. Can't even see them attracting Klopp in their current state.

Ancelotti will surely only go to one of Europe's best next time they need a new coach, or a team close to his heart. He's far too good for Liverpool

Also, apparantly he's having surgery over the summer and is becoming a grandparent. Can see him taking some time away before coming back again

Exactly, you hear on the radio stations and social media the fans are calling for Klopp, there is no way on Earth he is going to go to Anfield these days, so they should just forget it and back Rodgers for another season.

yes he done ok with Martinez's team

Let's be honest - he did much better than 'OK'. And if you're going by that logic, then should we take the credit away from Gary Monk for what he achieved this year?

Many of us walk around thinking we're a big club, but in reality just about everything we did in the past 20 years points to a small club mentality.

United showed everyone just how a big club reacts to a shit season. They immediately fired the manager, flexed their financial muscle and hired a very well known top class manager. Yes they hardly set the world alight this season but at least they're back in Europe and are in a good position to compete for honors going forward. What did we do after Rafa's final season? Appoint Hodgson, let Torres go and sign some of the worst players i have ever seen. We then faded into oblivion, and no top player or manager would seriously consider us. I mean, even Sterling is fucking with us.

We finally got another chance to put our name on the map again after last season, but Suarez left, and we used the money to sign "potential" instead of going all out. And now we're back to square one We are simply in love with transition periods, no one does it better than Liverpool, it's no surprise that we have failed to capitalize on promising seasons time and time again.

Rodgers showed plenty of promise in his first two seasons. There were plenty of weaknesses yeah and some awful press conferences, but i did admire his positive attitude and genuinely believed he was our guy going forward. The last 12 months completely changed that; an inability to fix the defense, signing players for huge sums and playing them out of position, false 7.5's, false 2's, false 8's but most of all, it's his inability to motivate players for big games that convinced me that he is not the right guy going forward. There are countless examples of us freezing in crunch games over the past 3 years, and unfortunately i don't see how he can turn it around. He doesn't know how to.

I'll repeat what i said earlier, no ambitious club should keep their manager after the way our season ended. Would Chelsea, United, City or Arsenal do that? Definitely not. Yeah we're not at their level, but if we really want to reach that level we have to start acting like them.

I don't think Klopp would join us, but we should seriously try to get him at least.
