Don't you just hate it when you're watching a match and suddenly you have to switch channels to carry on watching it.

Matosevic looks like he's got a terrible attitude, should give Broady a big confidence boost.

Cheeky little decider on our hands. Nice start to Wimbledon for British interest.

First seed to go by the wayside looks like the 9th Seed in the Womans draw Carla Suarez Navarro who is a 1 set and a double break down to Ostapenko.

Great, great performance from Broady! To come back from 2-0 down in his first ever five set match is incredible.

Yep well done Broady. I'm looking forward to the Konta v Sharapova game which should be on fairly soon.

Turns out Jelena Ostaphenko was the Gorls Singles Champion at Wimbledon last year. One to watch out for Certain.

Starting now. Konta's up against the Williams sisters in the doubles as well, lucky her.

Hewitt is struggling with an injury which is a shame and it's currently 2-2 in sets. I hope he can continue and pull through to set up a match against Djokovic in round 2.

Glad I took the gamble on her for the TFF, only picked her because she was the junior champ there. Suarez Navarro is a joke being 9th seed, never really done anything in her career.

Also, I don't think I know any player who plays more 5 set matches than Lleyton Hewitt. Every match he ever plays seems to go the distance! Currently 8-8 with Nieminen here.

Leyton loses out while Kei Nishokori looks to be heading to a fifth set himself against Bolelli

Hewitt out then, last appearance at Wimbledon. I think he's always been slightly overrated, he won his Slams in a couple of transitional years at the top with Sampras on the slide and pre-Federer on the scene. When Fed became a dominant force as well as the likes of Roddick on the scene and then Nadal, Hewitt really got left behind those guys at the top of the game at the age of 24.

Safarova a set and break down against Riske - be a surprise if she doesn't come back from this.

Much better by Heather Watson in the second set, after getting completely outplayed in the first. 4-1 up.

Sascha Zverev just got his first ever slam win. One of the sport's rising stars, along with Coric, Vesely, Kokkinakis, Hyeon and Ymer.

Good little core of players coming through there. Did Hyeon Chung win today? I saw he was up but missed the final result.

Zverev will be a great little player. Really like watching him. Him and Coric for me will be huge. Have to include Kyrgios as well as he's younger than Vesely, as is Edmund actually.

Hyeon lost a five-setter but he's definitely one to watch in the future. I didn't include Kyrgios in that pack as he's done so well in the last 12 months that you assume he's already an established star and forget that he's so young. Right now, he's the leader of the pack though, with Coric, Zverev and Kokkinakis not too far behind.

On another note, how far has Jersy Janowicz fallen?! Looked an absolute cert at one stage to be a top 10 player and future major winner with his immense serve and hard hitting groundstrokes. Now he can barely win a match in Slams or Masters. He just lost to Ilhan who in all due respect shouldn't be in the same league.

Suppose it just shows that the transition from enthusiastic fearless youngster to tour mainstay isn't as smooth as you sometimes assume it may be.

Sharapova's grunting today was a disgrace, once again. And the sounds seems to resonate more on these close to the action courts. It is a clear court violation, a deliberate hindrance, trying to put the opponent off. That's what the rules say and therefore she should be losing that point. Will never happen though, she's been getting away with it for years.

Konta said on 5live she wasn't bothered by it but that might have just been her trying to avoid making unwanted headlines about the grunting.

Yeah I really like Zverev, he looks like he could head to the top imo.

I've only lost one and I'm now top of the league, good start. I assume other people have got more players starting today though...

Edmund can win this today against Dolgopolov, the latter is a heck of a player when he's on it, but can be very inconsistent. Edmund going well in the first set anyway.

Time to chill out with a cold beer and enjoy the Tennis. Even though Edmund lost the first set on a tiebreaker, i can see him coming back to win the game. hmm maybe not as he's getting hammered in the second set.

Really feel for Edmund he looks extremely promising but he cant buy a decent draw at Wimbledon. He stayed with the Ukrainian for the first set. More First serves, Less unforced errrors and the same amount of winners.Impressive. He had a big chance to go 5-3 up in the tie-break since then he hasnt had a look in.
