Chorley have signed a couple of former County players in Sam Sheridan and Kieran Charnock.

I see Tamworth have signed Elliot Durrell. If he recaptures his Hednesford form that's a quality signing.

Charnock will do well for them, did better than expected here but he'll be seen to better effect in the North.

Sam Sheridan (nephew of ex-Premier League Darren) is standard Conference North fare really. Some Barrow fans raved about him, I was never a big fan. Tidy and hard-working, lacks a final ball and anything higher up the field. Scored some decent free kicks in his 3 spells here.

He actually struggled more in the lower division when he played for us. Lacking height, strength and pace in the Conference North as a centre back leaves you in big trouble.

Very inconsistent when with us. Just when you thought he had turned the corner he would chuck in an absolute shocker of a performance.

Welcome. Also jealous of that signing. Our third signing is announced as Todd Jordan. Whats your thoughts on him Lincoln fans?

Law would have been impressed with him up against Akinde when playing out of position at CB a couple of seasons ago, which turned out to be his only really decent game for us.

He improved a bit after initially signing (basically from a pub side) but it became apparent probably back end of his first season that, in terms of being a first teamer, he was out of his depth. Went to Stalybridge last season on loan but I'm not sure how that went if I'm honest. Decent size but a bit slow. Doesn't strike me as a Law type of player if I'm honest.

He seemed more of a defensive midfielder than a CB. He played twice at CB for us I think. Once as above against you, but the other was at Chester where he had a nightmare even before he got sent off after about 10 minutes!

Thanks Luke. Not great then and Id agree in saying its certainly not a Law type of signing. A quick search on the Stalybridge forum shows he did ok without really standing out in a bottom 5 team.

He is probably as close to a squad player as we are going to get.

Judging by our signings at the minute we are looking mid to lower mid table really.

I think a lot of Gloucester fans would bite your arm off for 15th position. They are due to return to their old (rebuilt) ground the season after next and the fans I have spoken with think it is pretty important that they retain their current league status ahead of that move. Although they are our biggest rivals, at least historically, their fans have suffered a lot since they were flooded out in 2007 and they are surely deserving of a lucky break.

I know they are moving to 'Mill farm' which has a 2000 capacity main stand, I think. I just don't know when they are moving.

Well Mill Farm has started it's work now. We hope to have it ready for next season, could push a bit later but I know the plan is to try get there for next season. A 6 thousand capacity.
I could be optimistic for it to be ready next season but we all hope

Just signed Abdulai Bell-Baggie from Bristol Rovers.

Looks a decent signing on paper. A little concern about not being able to make a single appearance for Bristol Rovers when he joined them in March but I guess that could possibly be down to injury?

Very happy with that one. Is that the Miller deal out of the window or has Bell-Baggie been brought in to play up top do you reckon?

Not sure, though right now I just can't see the Sean Miller one happening. Dragged on too much on top of this signing. Though I think Bell Baggie playing off Colley could work quite well reading some of the posts from Tranmere fans when he went to Bristol.

Hednesford have signed Ahmed Obeng from us, I'm disapointed to see him go as he was never given a chance this season and when he was he looked good and I really hoped he'd be a regular here next season. He will be a very good signing for them

So guys the fixtures are out!

We start at Bradford PA and finish at North Ferriby.

Our Boxing Day/NYD game is Tamworth which I am happy with.
Just one midweek away trip to Gloucester too. Happy with that!
