Happy with Tait signing, been ever present for Cambridge last two seasons including their promotion season and still only 25. Seems to be well thought of by Cambridge fans much like Monkhouse by Bristol fans.

I doubt that very much, although the original fee was rumoured to be around £50k, I heard that it was nearer to £20k with a hefty sell-on clause.

You argue against things I say on a regular basis but, but for LJL turning out alright and us not particularly struggling without Neilson there's very very little you end up proving me wrong on.

Wow, that's a great signing for conference north level. Was one of Tranmeres better performers last season until Micky Adams arrived.
Would like to of seen him used more down the middle at Tranmere rather than out wide. Has got lots of pace and will cause big centre backs nightmares when he has the ball at his feet.
Hope the lad does well.

I have a good feeling (purely instinct) about this signing. Two footed and pace at Conference North level is a good starting point as we saw with Rhys Turner.

Surprising to see Bencherif sign for Halifax. Must have pushed the boat out for that one.

Good signing, though. Played as CB, DM, CM and attacking midfield here last season! Strongest is probably CB, strong at set pieces, not got the mobility to play CM, particularly in a 2.

Barrow are signing Joel Dixon from Sunderland. Worked with the manager before at Workington, also had a spell at Gateshead, and we saw him make one of the best goalkeeping displays in recent years at Holker Street last season when he was with Boston.
He's 21 and on a 2 year deal - from Barrow fans' limited knowledge of him, a few people are getting quite excited. Anyone seen anything more of him?
