May be reading into the situation to much, but I'm certain that we will unveil a CB within the next week or so, and will be very close to signing him now, otherwise it would be a braindead move to let Osborne go out on loan, and only leave us with 4 defenders, one of those being El fucking Abd.

We'll see.

Harry Maguire is a decent defender if the ball is getting lumped at you, but any intelligent forward line with pace and trickery will have him all over the place. Bit of an oil tanker.

Not going to happen.

They'll both go out of the door on loan early season I'd imagine, unless there has been a dramatic change to either of them over the Summer. We'll have a full squad ready come August 8th, there's still over a month to go yet, don't panic.

How many players are you expecting us to sign? We have a squad of 15/16 currently, including El-Abd. I think Burns will be here - not sure about Bobby.

Well, Bunn looks inevitable, one or two Centre Backs, a Right Wing Back, one or two Midfielders (probably 2, mainly because now with JET and Elliot going we have no cover for Freeman) and 2 strikers. 6 signings minimum, and then a few in the loan market.

It worked perfectly last season going with the 'quality over quantity' policy, admittedly we got very lucky with long-term injuries and such, but with a few more quality players, we'll be just fine.

Since we release our retained list we've lost Morgan, Pringle, Arnason and Rowe and we've brought in four.
