Not a 20 a season man probably but his all round game is a cut above any other striker you'll see in L2 next season.

Everyone said Akinfenwa couldn't play 90 minutes, or 2 games in 7 days. He has played pretty much every game last season. I hope we can do the same with Elliot.

I'm fairly certain you won't get a full season out of Elliott. We'd had him 4(?) years and I think the most we ever got was 25 apps

Elliots a good player, he's big, strong and will cause plenty of defenders problems with his size, when he's up for it he simply doesn't get bullied, unfortunately he just wasn't up for it enough in my eyes, sometimes looked to casual for my liking, think he was on a fair wage too which didn't help in him staying, wish him well though and a throughly likeable chap.

Think osbourne is a good signing too, worth the wait Wimbledon.

Unfortunately so. The rumours about him retiring were just rumours. He's one of those that won't retire, fuck knows how all that travelling to shitholes will do to him this season at his age, not even got Yatesy to drive him around anymore either.

Trew is on Mad again. Stead isn't even the exciting Championship striker we want apparently (I assume that's CMS and we're trying to convince him on location), he just turned up for talks today and we won him over.

I thought I had read somewhere he had gone on the boot camp trip
to Portugal but having looked again it's never been confirmed anywhere, just widely speculated/hinted at by local journalists. The story was 3 potential new signings might be announced before the trip, only the 2 were announced though so whether that 3rd was him or not, and why it only turned out to be the 2 announced is a mystery.

Personally I'm not sure he is the type of striker we need, would personally like to see a hold up type player, a bit like Stead actually, to replace Benson.
