WM 32. BOOK IT

Rollins vs Reigns vs Ambrose - WWE title
Lesnar vs Owens
Cena vs Samoa Joe
Undertaker vs Sting - double retirement
Bryan vs Zayn
HHH vs (hmm Balor, Wyatt or something, maybe even Rock)

Thats not even mentioning the plethora of other options, Orton, Ziggler, the NXT divas etc

I think the temptation is for the big money matches, possibly Austin, Lesnar, Rock etc but I think it needs to be when the younger guys get the spotlight with the big names but tapered in with the Taker/Sting match

HHH and Steph vs Rock and Rousey

I think we might have a slither of a hint for a dudley boyz harper/Rowan match at summerslam

So Money in the Bank..... I enjoyed it.

Sheamus is an interesting choice as MITB holder. I couldn't really think of anyone else in that field who i'd like to have it (Ziggler is a face so it wouldn't suit, Reigns GOD NO, Neville isn't ready), I think Rusev was probably penciled in to win this before his injury, but hey I don't mind Sheamus as much as some people. He has a strong character and a good gimmick as a heel.

The one part of the show that I didn't like was Cena beating Owens. Now I'll probably get someone saying 'OH GOD TYPICAL CENA HATER BLAH BLAH' but they had a really good chance to go somewhere a little bit new and a little bit dangerous with this angle. they could have had Owens constantly beat Cena, and have him be Cena's bogey wrestler (for want of a word). Cena gets a bit more frustrated each time and eventually shows a bit of depth to his character. For me, we've fallen dangerously back into Wyatt / Rusev territory now with Owens. We're going to get another 5 weeks of Cena being Mr. USA and saying 'some y'all like me, some y'all don't', going on about he's the only one who does it for THEM *points at fan in crowd with illness*, and how Kevin Owens isn't a real man because he didn't beat John Cena. We all kind of realise now that Cena is actually a top top notch worker & when used well he's an awesome promo. But his booking and his character is just as bad as it always has been, just he's got the US Title now rather than the big belt.

The Rollins and Ambrose match was absolutely outstanding. That's all I need to say about that match. I want them both to feud with each other constantly. The best Rollins is against Ambrose, and the best Ambrose is definitely against Rollins. The way they promoted Ambrose as this crazy guy who just won't quit was brilliant especially with that visual of him dragging his leg down the ramp towards the ring and him pulling himself up the ladder even after Rollins buried him in ladders and chairs. I don't know where they're going after this, but Ambrose deserves something big after this feud. Give him a feud with Sheamus at Summerslam, or maybe a heel Orton. And keep his character like this and less like 'man who loses to exploding tv'

I thought that was a shitty PPV. The Cena/Owens match was great and even though Owens lost they made him look strong afterwards. The title match was decent but everything else was pretty boring I thought.

Cena v Owens was awesome. Not too bothered about the ending after all, even though I thought I'd hate it. A match that awesome needed a proper finish. Owens wasn't damaged by it at all, even though I agree Cena didn't need the win back so soon.

Sheamus? Snore. Like him better as a heel but still can't be doing with him as a main eventer. The thought of a Sheamus title reign, ugh. Better for Reigns that he didn't win though.

Odd tag title switch. New Day are really getting over as heels so found it bizarre but imagine they'll win them back soon via cheating.

Thought the ending to the main event was rubbish. Otherwise they did some great spots despite the fact the crowd had burnt out a bit. The powerbomb on the ladder and chairs outside was crazy.

You know, I didn't dislike Cena beating Owens as much as I thought I would (though I still think it was a strange move) and I'm not entirely happy with Sheamus winning MitB (even though I do rate him) but the thing, above all else, that pissed me off with MitB was... Bray fucking Wyatt.

I still think he's great, I certainly seem to rate him higher than a lot of people do... but COME ON.

"Somebody is going to win a match... lights out, a wild Wyatt appeared! Wyatt screwed them out of winning! But why?! Why has he targetted this man, only Bray Wyatt knows!"

THAT. Followed by a month or so of promo's along the lines of "something something, because you and me, we're exactly the same, something something, I will help you, something something, yada yada, all sounds cool but not actually saying anything" and then a match. HOW MANY TIMES DOES WWE NEED TO GO DOWN THIS ROUTE?!

The thing with Wyatt is that he's getting very stale... he can talk as good as anybody, but he's just never got anything new or interesting to say. And he keeps on getting that above set up for pretty much every feud ever. Fucks sake. Ryback, Ambrose, Cena... The Undertaker is the only fued of his I can think of that didn't start with him randomly targeting a guy. It's shit.

Is it just me that finds Ambrose really cringeworthy on the mic then?

I used to love Wyatt, especially when he was on the mic, now when he talks I just zone out, I don't even listen. It's just boring now

He just needs a point to what he's saying. If he actually had some direction, or his promo's actually helped carry a story at all rather than just sounding cool, I'm sure he'd be one of the best things in WWE in terms of character/involvement in stories.

Completely agree with the Wyatt comments, took words right out of my mouth. This feud with Reigns completely disinterests me.

MITB....Sheamus a buddy of Triple H winning. Great(!)....So this guy cant win the IC title 2 weeks ago but now he's due to be next champion!?! That makes sense....

I actually like Reigns and think the inevitable should happen and book him to win the title. Yes his mic skills are very average but I loved his match with Brock and really want to see a rematch. I would have been interested to see would he do the typical cash in or do the Cena and challenge the champion properly.

I also think longer they leave Roman without the title, the more stale he'll become and he will lose his momentum. Reminds me a bit of Ryback a few years ago...was really on fire...entire arena screaming feed me more...then he loses to Mark Henry, turned heel then was faffing about as RybAxel. I still don't think he has that spark he did when he started feuding with CM Punk.

Love PTP winning tag titles.

Good PPV, I thought, loved Owens and Cena again, great match, Cena was busting out a few new moves as well, hopefully Owens wins the decider and takes the US title and for once give us a new direction for him. Rollins/Ambrose was also very good, Rollins needed the clean win, been way too weak lately. Sheamus is an interesting choice, with the title holder looking like Rollins or Lesnar next few months but we will see how it progresses, not sure if he will cash successfully. Would love a Sheamus/Lesnar match though, be a right brawl.

Wyatt has arguably the most interesting gimmick in the company; or, to put it another way, the gimmick with the most creative potential. The problem is it'll only work if you treat him like a big deal and make the most of the creative possibilities there.

The Wyatt Family (with Bray as a kinda Max Cady meets Charles Manson via Skinner figurehead) was a great thing for him because it gave him a purpose. They could have done so much with that stable. Disbanding that group when they did – having barely scratched the surface of the storyline possibilities – is one of the worst instances of WWE creative dropping the ball in the last 5 years – up there with letting Triple H and Nash ruin the Summer of Punk thing, IMO.

If he's to be a singles guy, he needs to be singled out and protected like Undertaker was throughout most of his caeer. He should be this dark, out-there and intimidating character who is largely a law unto himself and who hardly ever loses. He would also benefit from only appearing sporadically. He's a guy who doesn't need to be on TV every week. Overexposure weakens his gimmick. Unfortunately WWE only seems to 'get' the whole "less is more thing" when they have to, i.e. when it's pretty much forced on them by someone like Lesnar.

In short, his gimmick only works if he's booked strongly and you build up a sense of aura about the guy. His appearences should be events in themselves. If he's just another guy in the midcard who appears every week and who loses every major fight he starts (which will probably happen again now with Reigns), he just looks silly.

Yeah, Bray has an awful record when it comes to these big matches. I remember when he feuded with Ambrose, I was calling it the battle between the two guys who never win the PPV matches. I was actually amazed when he beat Ryback a few PPV's back, I think that may be the first feud he's won.

But completely agree, it's such a superb gimmick with countless possibilities. And Bray himself seems fully capable of taking that gimmick and making it great. That's probably the most infuriating thing about Wyatt, it's like they got a great basic groundwork down for the Bray Wyatt character but they just don't know how to use what they have. He always seems to come across as talking a big talk, but never actually getting the job done. Like I said, how many big matches has he won? How often does he come out of the feud on top? He's constantly making claims that he can't back up. I thought it was absolute shite how he went into Wrestlemania saying he'd win and take Takers place as the "new face of fear"... then he lost, but decided to still call himself the new face of fear anyway. As he stands, he comes across as a man who's word isn't worth a damn. No matter how pretty he makes those words sound.

Completely agree about Wyatt as well. There is crazy potential for his character and his gimmick. He can wrestle as well. The live crowd were eating everything he did up last year. He's got pretty much the complete package.

But everyone knows the script by now. Wyatt challenges random guy. Croaky promos for 4 weeks about face of fear and retribution, then the big match and he... loses. Then we start again but with a new challenger.

The whole cool aspect of Wyatt was the cult aspect of his character. The CM Punk Straight Edge Society run in 2009 - 2010 was THE best CM Punk run in my opinion. And that wasn't even with the top brass fully getting behind them. Since then there hasn't really been a cool cult in the WWE, but with the Wyatt Family they had the chance. You had a leader who absolutely ooozed charisma when he first came in, you had 2 big big guys who just looked the part and followed on his every word. I had an idea a year ago that they should have random people joining the Wyatt Family and go full on with his band of misfits causing destruction. The fans bought it all up, they organically did the 'lights on during the Wyatt music' thing. They wanted the Wyatt Family to work. Something like a Raven's Flock from WCW. A guy with a group of followers who will do his wishing.

But creative absolutely crapped their pants. Daniel Bryan joining them was instantly shock tv. It was the first time since the Punk pipebomb that I was 'I need to watch next Monday Night's Raw'. And it was going well. But they absolutely crapped their pants and after 2 weeks (because there's no such thing as a long build anymore) Bryan turned on the Wyatts and basically made out that he was tricking them.

Then we have the Cena chapter. That was where the Wyatt character was at it's most popular, but also fell the most. Loss.Win. Loss. Loss. A win thanks to 'signing child'. 3 clean losses in 4 months. But hey, at least he still had his family.

Breaking the Wyatt Family up was the WORST thing they could have done. Rowan isn't great, yeah he's expendable. But Luke f'n Harper is a monster. They pushed him for what, 2 weeks, and gave him the IC Title. Then nothing. What a waste. Harper & Rowan were best served staying behind Bray Wyatt, because without his cult and without this aspect of his character, Bray Wyatt is nothing more than a hillbilly who can't back up what he says. He says 'follow the buzzards' whilst standing alone. He calls himself 'the new face of fear' and loses to Undertaker. His credibility is shot, and I think only be returning to his roots, getting the Wyatt Family back and giving him a proper 12 month feud to get stuck into, will he actually fulfill his potential.

I think what he really needs is to actually break somebody. And honestly... I actually think that his feud with Reigns is a perfect chance to do that. Fuck it, fans have already tainted Reigns with the "Cena" brush, he's never going to win some people over now if he just keeps going as a face (saying this, I still think he could survive as a face and win over the majority if he had to) so why not give him a go at being a heel? Let Bray Wyatt finally break a man.
And it's make sense, too. He's the guy who was really going places, has it all... but it got taken from him right at the death. And people fucking hate him, even though he's never actually done anything wrong. He has reason to be angry with the world. If Bray can bring these sorts of thoughts into his mind, it's actually make sense. It could revitalise Bray Wyatt while also protecting Reigns from going full blown Cena... let him win people over as a heel for a bit, and then when he does turn face a while down the line, I think he could finally get the reactions WWE always wanted him to get, so long as they don't go and push him too hard again.

Yep, can't wait. Sounds like neither the NXT title match or the Lesnar match is headlining though.

Beast for breakfast.

Looking forward to Owens vs Balor. It's looking obvious that Balor will win given his history and the hype, although that victory he got on the go-home has left some doubt. It'll also be interesting to see how they'd give Balor the win seeing as they want to keep Owens hot. I want Owens to retain.

Should be pretty good. Balor vs Owens is obviously going to be great, and I love that they're doing it in a WWE ring. Have they actually said who Lesnar is going to be fighting though? Excited about the possibilities...

I can imagine it being Reigns. Which I would actually love to see happen...

Lesnar vs Kofi.

Can't see Cena getting involved in the Owens match, lesty. It wouldn't be fitting with his character. It'd be cool if Hideo turned and cost Finn.
