Been laughing at that for a good while. Steady's safe back in camp so doesn't affect him.

Right, gonna give it 5 mins or so to see if Krazy8 is online to sort out his situation, then we can get on with this.

The survivors all choose a direction and steer their canoes... and split into three small groups.

The people who went to the left find themselves in a slower river running through some thick foliage. They have to beat down some hanging vines but make it though, until it simply got too thick and they had to abandon the canoes and continue on foot. They walked off to the right, assuming that they'd meet the others.

The ones who went dead on had a fair bit of fast river before it eventually came to an end at a waterfall! It was a mad scramble, but all of the survivors managed to grab onto nearby tree brances and ease themselves to the river bank, where they could continue on foot. They catch up with John Fallon, so assume that they've chosen the right way... until he explains that he actually intended to go right but couldn't control his canoe.

And after a while, the ones who went to the left spot some people in the horizon... it's the people who kept going dead on! The two groups are glad to see one another, but the question remains... what happened to the people who went to the right?

It is starting to get dark, so they make camp for the night with the intention of catching up to the others tomorrow.

THE PEOPLE WHO WENT TO THE RIGHT STILL MUST NOT POST IN THIS THREAD.

Everybody else may resume posting as normal. The people who went to the right are immune from execution votes, as well as being targeted by the werewolves or having any other abilities used on them at this time. At the same time, they can not make votes for execution, target players if they are a wolf, or use any abilities that they may have.

The deadline for this gameday will be 7pm tomorrow.

To be fair, you probably did. I left a bunch of the PM's because I didn't want my inbox to be flooded with NOTW messages, seems I didn't record the responses of a couple of them. I did the same thing to Krazy8. My bad

Everybody knows that you should never drink and NOTW.

Had been hoping that Lee would've at least spoken up to defend himself by now. Only one not to choose a direction as well.

Bit undecided here, as there's not much to suggest he's a wolf, mainly voted for him to get a reaction. But since none has been forthcoming I'm leaning towards Yellow's thinking - if he's not going to be active what use is he to us.

What does everyone else think?

I'll vote for LeeWilson too. Damned by his own silence. Just like young Jimmy when we were in the trenches at stores and no one would own up to pilfering the last Jammy Dodger.

Gonna take a miracle to save Lee now. Does he even care? Even if he does, we probably won't get a response out of him. He's probably off playing tennis.

LeeWilson is taken to the river and given his final rights by Veggie Legs. Two of the survivors then grab Lee's head and hold it under the water until the bubbles stop. Lee is dead.

It is night.

During the night, Veggie picks up the sounds of movement from around the camp...

The survivors slowly wake up one by one as they hear hushed whispers coming from outside... they arm themselves with sticks and large stones... and then rush out of their tents. There are people everywhere, the camp has been surrounded.... but the survivors outnumber these intruders 2 to 1. Rammy is just about to twat one of the intruders over the head, when he suddenly realises that it's Magic. These are no intruders... it's the rest of the survivors! The survivors have been reunited. Well, apart from Steady of course, who's currently sat on the beach on his own thinking it's all a bit rubbish.

THE PLAYERS WHO WENT TO THE RIGHT CAN NOW POST IN THE THREAD AGAIN!

The returnees come back with a buzz of excitement... they've found something. Another stone, with another riddle (YES another riddle) carved into it...

For those of you who seek what’s true

"Speaking of Riddles" says John Fallon "I've actually been up all night working on that original riddle you got from the tablet thing, and I think I've got the gist of it... it's in this part:

"Speak the phrase and stay his wrath
Though get it wrong, and suffer pain
And forever live in his dark domain"

It's obvious... there is a specific phrase that we must say, in bold, to defeat Satan. But if we speak the wrong phrase, we'll be killed... so we must get it right! No idea what it could be... perhaps this new riddle can give us a clue. And it is said that he who defeats Satans Great Demon will get a fantastic clue as well..."

Pondering on this, all of the survivors return to their beds.

Am I dead in this yet?

The following morning, the survivors find another body that has been torn to pieces. The only thing to identify it is a blood stained sheriffs badge... TomPNE has been killed!

But that is not all... the survivors also find a second body. This one, as with Harvs, has been burnt to a crisp... this is not the work of the wolves... SATAN has killed again. There is nothing to recognise this body by, so once again there is a roll call held to see who is missing... and at first, they think that they're all present and accounted for. But then they suddenly realise... they've lost their tour guide...

John Fallon is dead!

And the survivors have no idea where the guy was taking them...

Day 10 (FINALLY) begins!

I shared the same fate as a fictional character. Great.

What the fuck is going on with these riddles

Jinkies, I've not seen a corpse as charred as that since the Ogaden conflict in 1977. I was posted in Somalia and the fighting was fierce. The battle was ruthless, but it was away from the front line that I really witnessed the horror of war.

We heard tell of a young farmhand who had snuck away from home and on his return found nothing but the blackened skeletons of his family. It was a horriffic story which ended with him taking revenge and killing innumerable enemies. The bloodshed and destruction was horrifying. I don't half wish I'd not been to watch Star Wars at the Hargeisa Odeon.

Fair put me off my dinner in the mess hall later.

Without really knowing which way they're going, the Survivors just keep on going in the general direction Fallon was leading them and hoping that it takes them to where they need to be...

And it turns out for the best! After not too long they find a small shed... and when they get inside it, they find that it's a small weapons cache! They find themselves in a small room with a whole bunch of swords, spears, shields, bows and arrows...

TO DEFEAT SATANS GREAT DEMON, THE SURVIVORS MUST ARM THEMSELVES!

Each player must choose one of the following by posting which weapon you'd like to take in this thread (in bold, as always):

SWORD
SPEAR AND SHIELD
BOW AND ARROW

Each weapon choice will bring different benefits to the group when fighting the demon, but those benefits will be hidden until you've all made a choice. It is recommended that you try to keep a nice balance of swordsmen, spearmen and archers amongst the group.

You have until mid day tomorrow to make your choices, or they will be chosen at random.
