Can't really pass this off as Rave but I saw the name Arnej in my email box today and it reminded me how much I liked him back in 2009. Love the track above and also Dust in the wind which is a brilliant track. Not sure what he is doing these days.

I was expecting to hate the Dixon remix but I like it.

Nice :) Going to Jaded this week, usual residents playing and Mark Broom is doing a 4 hour set, will be my first proper techno night out since the start of May so looking forward to it. Especially as they music was quite poor at the last two events. Can always rely on Jaded though. :)

Jaded was quality as it always is. Banging from start to end. :)

Nice psy tune I found here:

We're thinking about ADE yeah, had a great time 2 years ago and all my mates love Amsterdam. So definitely going to look into it again this year. You thinking about going?

Enjoy Berlin as well fella.

I thought you went, couldn't remember if it was last year or not. Yeah I think we are going to go, we know we will get to October and be wanting to go and we can't go next year so makes sense. We checked out a flight and hostel last night for £200 which is decent enough. Think I'll try and get to a trance night even though the two people I'm with hate it. I'm sure you'll do it once you start seeing the nights come up. Last year was killing me.

Cheers mate, this weeks been crazy with work so really looking forward to it now.

Looking on going back to Berlin eventually. The first year we went I think we were overwhelmed by the size of the city and couldn't really find many bars open late like you'd get in the UK. Natch if you've found any hidden gems please share :2thumb:

I always reccomend the area around suicide circus lots of great places there. There is also a really cool carrabian bar across from Ostbanhof and there are good clubs in walking distance from there. It does shut earlier though.

We went to the Fetish KitKat club on Monday night, really good deep house and Techno all night. Had to leave at 5 as I was a bit drunk but it was still banging. It was no dress code on a Monday but I danced in my underwear for a bit and there was a couple having sex nearby. Surreal feeling of literally anything goes!

First of a few trips to Ibiza this summer starting Saturday.

See what this "Do Not Sleep" fuss is all about with Darius Syrossian and Sante on Sunday.

Classic that one.

Freqs of nature was a nice festival, some of the artwork was quality and the music was decent with pleanty of techno alongside the Psy trance. We had a brilliant morning on the first day where half of the dance floor was fucking about and dancing together. :) I had one day where I was pretty sick and I honestly thought I'd screwed up the festival but managed to recover the following morning and get one more night in, we left before the music finished at midnight so we could get back to Berlin for a couple of days after getting soaked on the last night. It was nice to do a smaller festival this year and I am glad we chose it over Ozora, it's a shame we won't be able to go back next year as Boom just about edges it but think we'll do it when we're in Berlin for 2017.

Some decent pictures here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.881807828569056.1073741872.745902965492877&type=3

I must admit though I hate tents and I am not to bothered about dancing outside, I'd much rather be in a sweaty dark club but my girlfriend loves festivals so quite happy to do them.

I think it was the Modeskeletor night that caught my eye. James Zabiela is someone I've been wanting to hear play again for ages and I've yet to catch Shed. Rodhad, Truncate, Clark and Addison Grove have all excelled when I've seen them before. I doubt I'll go though and I think my mates up there are more interested in the Circus night.

Have to start somewhere. ;) I try to avoid using the word underground though as it comes across pretentious. You should go to the night II've mentioned though, you might surprise yourself.

Paul if you go to the Recondite night I would be interested in what you think of him. I love his productions but was dissapointed live. Scuba on the other hand was a nice surprise.

I went for MK and Hannah Wants, didn't want to do any more cos parts of our 'group' are on holiday at different times and it was getting a bit pricy.

If anyone's heading out to the white island this summer I'd highly recommend attending "Do Not Sleep" at Vista Club, Privilege. Headed by Darius Syrossian, Sante and Sidney Charles after the formers kick from Sankeys last year, very impressive deep house/tech set. Special guest Dennis Ferrer was there too which was an added bonus. I don't really double up on nights but when we go back next week I wouldn't mind going there again. Easily my favorite night of the weekend.

So I just checked out Hannah Wants and it's quite pleasing on the ear actually. A lot more interesting than the generic house that has been so popular the last couple of years, at least it has something about it.

I like Hannah Wants, seen her 4/5 times in the past year. Last one was her tour up in Leeds which was probably the best I've seen. Lots of old school garage which she doesn't really get chance to fit in when she's doing the rounds for Ibiza/festivals.

If I remember rightly she's on the defected night at Amnesia this year which I think clashes with Paradise at DC10 with Jamie Jones and Enzo Siragusa so I'll be giving her a miss.
