18000 is phenomenal.

Question. Bradford has a large Asian population.

How many of the 18000 would be Asian? I have seen a few faces in the crowd on TV highlights.
It's great to see the whole community supporting the club if so.
If we could get the poles into footy, we would need a bigger ground.

You don't see many but the TV cameras always seem to focus in on Asian groups/families in big cup games, which is great and I think has had a positive impact and seen a slight increase of the Asian population supporting the club.

Why is it when I ask my question suddenly a Bristol City and Bradford City fan lose their ability to read?

The Burton fan had a more interesting question and is not bragging about an FA Cup win 28 years ago. You really do have an obsession with Bradford City and Bristol City, I think your just jealous of clubs that have a feel good factor and can't bear that two little clubs like ours are having a better time than the 'massive' Coventry City.

Why is it when you say you will stop posting in a thread, you disappoint us all and carry on?

Take the hint, no one cares

I asked a question and you still haven't responded to it and now you're going on another rant. I just wanted an answer to my question that was all.

I will admit I am jealous. I still can't see us having 18,000 season tickets sold ever, because we won't see success.

Right, I've got to say it because it's bugging the fuck out of me, and you're doing my bastarding tree in repeating it.

They're called Old ETONIANS, not fucking Entonians. Pleb.

"Cheers".

There's a lot more Asians going now than say ten years ago.

I was watching a game from my seat at the back of the Midland Road a couple of years ago and some lad came up and started praying next to us, was quite a novel experience.

We still lost.

P.S. Good effort from us, very excited ground should be rocking.

We are edging towards 5000. A 1000 more than I expected.

Remarkable really. I thought the 15,000 target wasn't achievable when first announced, but we've blown that out of the water. Hats off to our marketing team.

Why are you banging on about this like it means Coventry are massive cos they have won 1 fa cup in there history, doesnt matter when it was won it still counts the same, since when were teams measured on how many FA cups they have won? They say every dog has his day, you have won one thing in your history, just through the odds of probability that was going to happen but it just so happens to be more recent then other teams, but still a long time ago. You havent finished higher then 6th in any league in the past 45 years, Im not saying Bradford are a bigger club but c'mon man your talking like you actually have some history haha!

Also i dont know where your getting this 39 number for a prem game at coventry?? I went to nearly every away game in both seasons and we sold out almost everywhere, I went to both games we took 4,000 in 99/2000 and at least a couple of thousand in 00/01 last game of season wasnt it 0-0? Never took 39 you have that mistaken.

Yes you did take 39 even Firthy the attendance king knows you did

Obviously an FA cup win in 1987 is far more remembered than one over 100 years ago. I doubt any of your fans were even alive then. So if every FA cup has the same prestige then surely Old Etonians are bigger than you then? They have won it twice and reached the final 6 times.

Obviously we do have good history? I'm not sure how can you say that. We were in the top divisions for 34 years consecutively ffs. Bradford managed 2 and went back into lower league obscurity again so that was a bit of a stupid statement. We spent 34 years with the biggest and best teams we are still a well known name and fans of clubs would like to see us back in the big league again. So I'm not sure what your judge of a good history is but if we have no history then what do you class Bradfords as.

100% Not 39 there or anywhere near that number, Iv never been to a City away game with that little away fans and defo not in the premier league so I would have remembered it. Iv tried to find the number but cant find it on internet anywhere. I think you may be thinking of Wimbledon but yeh defo not us no matter how hard you try to convince.

Did you not read what I wrote? I said since when does the amount of FA Cups dictate how big of a club you are? Especially if its only 1 over 100 years or more. Old Etonians won the FA Cup years before the football league was even formed so your going nowhere with that. If your saying the FA Cup is the pinacle then we won it 76 years before you so we must be bigger by your logic, we also played in the top division 59 years before you first played in it.

I wasnt saying bradford are a bigger club, I was just saying you claim to be massive because you consistently finished in the bottom half for 34 years and won one cup in your history. Where do you get that fans want to see Coventry back in the top division? Never seen an outcry for that to be fair? Do you mean a few who grew up at a time when they were in the top division so didnt know any better? I cant see there being many fans of teams in the top league now who are pining for you to be back there do you haha you had a good run but thats over now, like most clubs youve spent a lot more seasons out of the top division then you have in it so I dont get why you think you have some kind of divine right to be in there.

Dion's Head is an old school City supporter who has seen far better times. I understand some of the things he said sometimes, but although my first few years as a supporter were Premier League, I wasn't around in 87, therefore I have grew up with us on the downwards spiral.

Well I remember it and so does Firthy so yeah....

Sorry mate a club doesn't finish in the bottom half of the same league for 34 years and not get relegated more than once. Look at QPR and Norwich now 1 season up 1 season straight back down and even if we did as if you wouldn't swap 34 years of mid table in the top division than 34 years between div 3 and 4.

We don't have a right to be there when did I say that. Just if you were born in the 70s, 80s and 90s City fans were used to playing the best teams and now majority can't believe that we are now viewed as a lesser than club than teams like Bradford City no disrespect who were in the 4th tier with 2k fans.

Correct there's not a cult following dedicated to getting Cov back into the big time by other fans but fans would rather see us in the Prem a 'old proper' club than a club like QPR.

Bradford were punching above their weight to be in the Prem when they were and couldn't sustain and went down after 2 years and went all the way down the divisions again. We could sustain it for 34 years and many years longer if the Ricoh was built when it was planned to probably says everything you need to know tbf

No I am not what are you talking about. Would you like to see my season ticket in 1992 for the Premier League (unfortunately you can't qualify through potential or else you would have been record time winners already).

I've never seen Cov as a big club, if this was a Sheff Utd supporter going on a pathetic rampage about us or Bristol City I'd be like 'fair enough' but Cov? Really??

Sheff Utd fans tend to be embarrassed they are down here and don't draw attention to themselves, the true sign of a big club.

Sorry mate but I don't think any Coventry City fan is and will ever be bothered by what a Bradford City fan thinks, it's like a trainee worker trying to get at an experienced worker. You will always be Bradford City in the 3rd and 4th divisions plodding along to me whilst we were competing with the best teams for 34 years. You were called 'them plucky minnows' when you beat Wigan in the cup which shows how the media look at you. We would be called 'former FA cup winners, the best final of all time and 34 years consecutive seasons in the big time' by the media.

It's ok mate. I understand. You are the like the kid at school who over the holidays pulled an ugly girlfriend and tries to show off to the more popular people in your school but they are not bothered because you have never been relevant to them because you have never done anything worth taking notice off!

Could easily be your Father's as I don't know your name so it wouldn't prove anything.

How is it wumming? Everything I said was true! It's cool. I deal in facts not opinions. Now, hop along and go watch your DVD of losing 5-0 in the reserve cup final, the proudest day in your clubs history.
