Arkham Knight

Man Bat appeared.

It was enjoyable but at the same time could have been better. A lot of the villains barely featured, Arkham Knight whined too much, without having much substance and there weren't many Scarecrow missions (I'm yet to play the downloadable ones). Having said that, the atmosphere and tone to the game were spot on. I just think there could have been more plot, instead of tank battles. I didn't really mind the tank battles, in fairness - apart from the one where you have to hit AK's tank a set amount of times. Just a bit of a longer story with more variety was needed, imo.

I've never read the comics and only vaguely remember the animated series from when I was younger but I do love the lore in Rocksteady's Batman games - always a great world to jump into.

Unsurprisingly, Joker/Hamill were probably my favourite part of the game.

I think it's a strong 8/10, but not the 10/10 I was hoping to end the trilogy with.

Though I'm a bit gutted about that ending with the protocol stuff... fucking doing all of the side missions to get that ending. Can't be arsed with any of the militia shit or the riddler trophies.

And then like waaaaay after that first happened and I'd forgotten about it (like, a week or two later) I went to grapple to another rooftop and the fucking Joker jumped out and did the same, taking the piss out of how much it shat me up the first time. THE PRICK.
