Drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace. Garbutt picked up an injury looks out for a while. O Hara was the best player on the pitch. Pringle scored and even Mitroglou came on and looked good. Desperately need a centre back though.

Now that is not very friendly for a friendly game.Right bunch of Espanyobs. Don't think we will be playing them again in a friendly for a while.Stupid challenge from Obita though. No surprise the Espanyol bench weren't happy with it.

On the plus side defense and midfield looking strong.Hopefully Frerdinand can stay fit as he has played well in pre season.Can see why Clarke wants another striker though.

Lost to Norwich 2-1. Both of their goals had a hint of offside, well, more than a hint, but they still deserved it overall.

No Odubajo or Dallas for us, so guessing they are leaving. We'll desperately need a new Winger and Right Back before the season starts, Odubajo is a massive loss.

Beat Everton 2-0. They weren't very good - was a mixture of youth and first teamers (Robles, Osman, Barkley, Oviedo, Mirallas, Kone, Naismith, Cleverley, McCarthy all played a part). Not much goalmouth activity in the first half but a nicely worked goal scored by Mowatt and a deflected Wood drive settled it. A solid end to pre-season.

Beat FSV Mainz 05 2-1, god and Bowery bagging again.

Genuinely proud after it, I'm not going to see many Bundesliga sides come to NY'S and to beat them days after they beat Lazio 3-0, it's given me even more confidence for the season ahead.

We beat a very poor St Mirren side yesterday, 5-0, and it could have been more however the positives were the ball retention and passing, it was excellent and now our fans need to learn patience is a virtue.

The Jerome one was close but Wes' was easily onside.

Fair enough. Watching it live both looked more than a little offside, as you can see both are very close, but yes, onside.

Thought you guys did well. We didn't look anything like we used to, and needed Button to make a lot of good saves.

Fine it's only a friendly, but with lots of players saying they want to leave, there must be something going wrong behind the scenes. Beginning to get a little worried about this season...

As much as I hate to say this but that sounds like karma for your owners! Horrible for the fans though!

good performance from our new players, Chris Wood looks something special, not just his goal, but his general link up play was superb, Adeyemi controlled midfield at times, not sure about this Erwin kid, seemed a bit lost in the 20 minutes he had

after seeing us, i've got some confidence back we should be ok, but i don't expect any fireworks

Beat Sevilla 1-0 at the Amex this afternoon, Hemed from the spot. That follows a 2-1 win at Gillingham and a 1-0 defeat at Aberdeen. Classic pre-season, is all I can say. Never really able to read much into any of it.
