Ages old now, I know, but really pleased to see Sylvan Ebanks-Blake get a new club. Hope he does well at Chesterfield, although it's fucking dangerously close to Yorkshire.

Will be interesting to see how Ebanks-Blake gets on, couldn't get in our team but he still had something about him.

His injuries are a huge concern though, managed to pick up a few niggles here without even playing.

Ryan Colclough due back at the Alex after Wolves elected not to sign him. Not surprising, he wouldn't have featured for them. No way do you spend 6 figures on a player that probably won't even make your first team.

So, what's it to be Ryan? Wait and hope another trial pops up? Or sign on the dotted line with us?

Apparently we are one of the league 1 teams interested in Nicky Ajose, who hasn't been given a shirt number at Leeds. Seen Port Vale mentioned as well.

I don't care either way tbh. He signs, then he'll surely be motivated to try and play his way out the club. Don't care if he doesn't want to be here, they'll be plenty in our squad that given the choice would rather be elsewhere.

But if he doesn't sign, then he'll have to hope a team will stump up the compensastion fee we'd ask for, all for a player with a dodgy injury record, off field legal issues and virtually no track record on the pitch bar a few glimpses here and there. I would be amazed if any club signed a player that, in all likelyhood, would be in their U21s mostly next season, especially for a decent size fee. He needs to sign for us, get a decent injury and trouble free year behind him, score some goals and then he'll be in a much better position to try and leave in 12 months time.

All I care about is what he does on the pitch. Don't care if he wants to be elsewhere.
