James Ward Prowse delivery today has been excellent.

Overall play was shit like always. So overrated.

We were wank. They'll do a job on us next week.

Our sales in the last two summers is catching up on us.

Yep, you can't keep it up forever. Eventually the players you bring in just end up being shit!

Well that was total shite. Not sure about the disallowed goal either, as the ref seemed to stop play over the slightest bit of contact.

Midgetland were playing for the draw in the second half and were time wasting throughout. For once the ref actually added on the time however, but we looked shit over the whole 90 and weren't going to turn it on in the 6 added minutes.

I just don't know where it's all gone wrong for us this season. We just don't play any width now and with Yoshida at RB that takes out the whole of the right side as an attacking threat, as he's better defensively than Soares, but can't run up the pitch.

Targett's not good enough and the sooner Bertrand comes back the better. Not really sure why we signed Martina or Juanmi this summer either. We may as well have brought Elia back for some width. Whilst Soares looks suspect defensively and Clasie's been injured after his less than convincing debut.

Looks like we're going out. An awful team selection from Koeman and it is showing.

Absolutely gutted. :(

Think we need to start spending the sales money and sign a striker who can score goals. Charlie Austin being ideal.

Gutted that we're out. Can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with a Southampton performance. We were awful and Koeman has to take his part of the blame for his god awful team selection.

Stonewall penalty for us I thought but we'd of skied it.

Could say its our season over but the prospect of a relegation battle is looking increasingly likely performance after performance.

Congrats to Midtjylland, they done their home work on us and deserved to go through.

Even more scandalous than our miserly travails last year, feel for the Southampton fans, felt they could have a decent crack at it.

2 English sides out of Eurooe already..

I don't think Liverpool or Spurs will win but they might go a long why if they give it a go.

i thought clubs like Southampton are more interested in the Europa League but they also suffering from the Aston-Villa-Syndrom.

Something they ( the english clubs) forget when they are acting like that, that they are losing a lot of sympathiers across Europe as it makes them feel, the club thinks he is better as the cup is. no one likes wanne-be's

What are you talking about? Southampton haven't pulled a Villa as you suggest. Quite simply they've got off to a terrible start this season and the better side won. They're not acting like anything. Saints aren't the same side this year as last, they're finally succumbing to the fact that you can't always replace your outgoing players sufficiently enough if you do it season on season.

Only concern is going away to Kazan. Really should win that group.

Spurs haven't got the easiest group, away to AFC Binbag as well.

Really tough group that for Celtic.

I must say this looks like a very tough competiton this year. Some very decents sides.

As long as Liverpool and Spurs deal with the French opposition in their groups they should be fine. Rubin arent as good this year as in previous seasons.

Qarabag is a tough draw for Spurs as they impressively beat Young Boys 4-0 in the Play Off Round

Couple of long trips for Spurs and Liverpool.

Does look like a very strong competition..

Do the Champions league group rejects still drop into this?

It is getting harder to win that competition now, two thirds of the teams in it these days are half decent. Then of course the CL drop outs come into it too making the knockout stages a step up from the group stages. Chelsea won it after doing that and maybe Sevilla could make it three in a row if they fail in their CL group.

Still it is a competition most teams are capable of winning, unlike the CL. Barca are just too strong atm.

Lovely Ajax goal to equalise against the second best team in Scotland. I fancy them to take the lead before half time.

if Bordeaux are the best team in the group we *should* walk it with the reserves. We won't.

Also, Sakho better be made first choice after that.

Son with two goals for Spurs.

They weren't that good but also not that bad considering the team was mixed and they could get a good score. They started loosing because of a slip-up of Trippier which he should be more alert to.
