Djokovic is just impossible at times but Murray finally seals an epic win and stops the rot. Very much echoes of the Wimbledon final though, Djokovic made him earn it to say the least.

Delighted for Andy he has the monkey off his back again beating Djokovic in a major final to win his 11th Masters (some achievement!). Surely that'll spur him on in his confidence that he could once again take on Djokovic in finals and in the upcoming US Open.

Andy beats Fish to progress. I'll work it out later what he has to do to stay ahead of Federer pointswise for the US Open. Next up its Dimitrov who has been disappointing the last few years and is not fulfilling his early promise.

Murray is looking a bit different these days.

Tennis does my head in. Obviously there's a reason why Djokovic is number 1 but at 3-0 (two breaks) up in the deciding set see the bloody game out, damn it!

I don't care who you're playing, to go from 3-0 to 3-6 is pathetic. Probably very harsh of me but fucking hell, it drives me mad. All that effort and nothing.

Goffin has a lot of talent, but he doesn't have the belief in playing the big boys. Tennis is as much a mental game as it is physical and to get over a mental block in any sport I imagine would be tough.

Murray labouring against Dimitrov so far 4/3 in first set but a break down, and he looks knackered.

That was brutal. I've never known a tennis player to put his fans through the wringer so much.

Murray goes a set and a break down, looks completely exhausted; somehow manages to get a break back, takes it to a tie break which he wins; then you think he'll go from strength to strength. No. After trading games back and forth, he puts serious pressure on Dimitrov in a very nervy and lengthy game, but doesn't get the break. Next game, he lose his serve! Dimi gets to 5/3 with match points, but somehow Murray manages to break him back and drawing level to 5 all, then breaks for a final time before closing out the match.

What a guy! He'll be utterly fucked for the next match though.

Shows how Murray doesn't give up - like Djokovic.

Nadal really is out of shape atm.

I can't see Nadal ever getting back to the level he was a few years ago and Federer won't be around for that much longer. Both of which are good for Murray, and if he starts to beat Djokovic on a regular basis, then he could completely dominate Tennis for the next few years at least, as there is a big gap in quality between the top few players and the rest.

I can see Murray winning quite a few slams in the next few years.

Murray through in another three sets against Gasquet. Into the semi's it is then, probably to face Federer who he hasn't beaten in a few years now.

Federer it is then. I think he'll win in straight sets, even if Andy has been battling hard and getting through, he is exhausted and Fed is fresh and has a great record in the tournament.

Djokovic a set and 3-0 down in second set tie-break. Wins 4-6 7-6(7-5) 6-2. Standard. He's had two scares now and got away with both, can't see him having a third - will probably beat Murray/Federer in straight sets. This'll make him the first player to win all 9, won't it?

If he wins it yes, he becomes the first player to win all the Masters events.

Fed takes the first set 6/4.

Fed playing ridiculous tennis in that tiebreak, thrashing Djokovic 7-1.

Wins the title. 7-6, 6-3. Awesome.

Insanely good.

Djokovic losing finals to Murray and Federer in consecutive weeks could make for an interesting US Open.

He was fine last week but hasn't looked at it this week. Think last weeks final took it out of both players and they did well to finish where they did!

Andy draws Kyrgios. The media are going to have a field day with this.

Only until Andy runs him all over the court and schools him.

A potential meeting with Wawrinka in the QF is going to be tough.

He'll make easy work of Kyrgios.

Anyone running the Dream Team game for this one?

Yeah as to the match itself I expect Andy to progress in straight sets fairly comfortably.

For the tournament he needs to show more aggression if he gets to the semi or final. Then he has a chance, failing that he could easily lose to Wawrinka in the QFs.

Nadal probably got one of the toughest draws he could - will Rafa go out?

I'm in. Literally a 2 min job, haven't had time to assess the draw or anything so I'm not expecting much!

Heather Watson out in the 1st round - knew she would lose after seeing her parade herself in the Mail last week as if she was a super-star more worried about how she looked..

Difficult to believe it was the same Watson who almost knocked out Williams at Wimbledon.

First upset. Paire knocks out Nishikori.
Paire will be a good player. Still a major shock for Nishikori though, he's going to lose nearly 1200 ranking points with that defeat.
