We supposedly bid £2m which was accepted due to the clause in the loan. But he had no intention to sign for us. Fair enough as he was made first choice for Palace rather than joining a poor Championship team.

Lucas Piazon just got officially confirmed too. One striker and I think our very good transfer window will be done.

5 goals in 11 starts for Cardiff last season, not too bad.

Irish Sun are reporting an £850k fee, whereas other places are reporting a loan.

Would be a good signing - Grayson must know all about him from when he netted 3 at your gaff last season anyway.

Irish paper says €850k, which is about what Cardiff paid for him I think (£650ish).

Not confident it will go through and I reckon a loan is more likely but there probably aren't that many better options out there for us.

Remember Chesterfield fans mentioning how well he linked up with Daniel Johnson.
