Klopp to Liverpool is pretty exciting though. Van Gaal, Klopp, and Mourinho all in the same league - what's not to like?

It's a bit annoying this didn't come in the summer but I suppose the board were willing to see if he could turn it around which unfortunately backfired. He started to get a bit desperate towards the end and over the years he's contributed to his own downfalls, such as the famous "don't judge me now, judge me in 3 years" as well as "if you spend £100MIL on players, you should be challenging for the league"... Proved easier said than done. When the pressure was on, he couldn't handle it.

In fairness he did give us a great season in 13/14 but since then it's all been rather bland and bleak.

Those quotes have really come back to bite him.. and yes the 13/14 was a great season and he, Gerrard and the team deserved better than to lose the title in that way, it seemed to really shake him up and his belief in his philosophy. He never looked like being able to marry good attacking football with solid defence, it just ended up being neither and quite a drab season despite the midseason push for the top four.

I am sad it didn't work out for him as he's young and if he got it right he could've been successful for many years

I don't think the players brought in this summer are an issue at all, but I know that's not what they're getting at. In fact it was a very solid transfer window for us!

I've got a sense of humour, I simply find the sourcing of obsessive idiots from fan forums or Youtube incredibly tedious. And not just in the case of Liverpool fans.
