History is on Brazil's side here, Chile have a horrible record against them, but I doubt that will matter today as Chile have their full team, Brazil are missing their best and most reliant player and just aren't very good anymore. Good luck for today though. I honestly don't know if I want Chile to win or lose as we have them next.

Look alright but keep doing stupid shit like misplacing a 5 yard pass and it going out of play in their own half, or counter attacking and someone trying to take on several players when hes got other options. Proper frustrating to watch

We've played some great stuff this half. It should be 1-1.

And some terrible stuff, breaking on the counter and passing straight to feet of the Colombians.
Carrillo(?, guy with the afro) missing the target.

We played great from the 45th to 70th minute but after that we lost all ideas. I can take some positives from the game but now this makes the Chile game a must win. That awful first half really cost us. As for individual performances, I thought Carillo really stood out and I was impressed with Reyna as well when he came on.

Yeah that's the thing, they play well and look promising but then slip up a couple of times and/or do stupid shit at crucial moments and it eventually costs them. Start of a 4 day weekend here as well, so put a sour tone on that lol
Advincula's a beast, my fave Peru player, should bang him on the wing for his speed.

The 2 strikers were useless today.

As for the other matches, Bolivia never lose to Uruguay at home, so its a little shocking to me to be honest.

Paraguay just scored against Venezuela!

Uruguay's first ever win in La Paz, I did not know that. I thought the strike all blew over but it seems not. Ecuador will probably beat Bolivia 4-0 minimum.

Ecuador beat Argentina 2-0 in Buenos Aires today

Ecuador is a good team. I've said it time and time again however they bottle it when it comes to the actual tournament. They have a lot of quality players though like Miller Bolanos, Enner Valencia, Dominguez, Jefferson Montero and Noboa. Ecuador is also the toughest place to play in the whole continent, however today was in Bueno Aires though. Ecuador don't have good away form so this is definitely a surprise. As for Argentina, they were abysmal today. What has happened to Martino? Once a brilliant manager, ever since he went to Barcelona he's become an awful manager. He basically gifted the Copa America final to Chile. Thinking he might be sacked if Argentina fail to beat Paraguay next, which is possible seeing as how they are playing in Asuncion and looking at how they played today.

Even without Cavani and Suárez Uruguay easily beat Bolívia that seems to still be having some issues with coach Baldivieso versus some players that denied to be in the nt while he's in the command.

Colômbia also depleted of James and Falcão had an average performance against Peru. The second half though had good chances for both sides.

Venezuela vs Paraguay was the slowest. It was routing to the tie but the venezuelan side had a fail in the end that cost them a goal to the adversary.

As expected Chile won. The first half Chile was way more defensive and just trying to take advantage of counterattacks and brazilian mistakes but the second half was very productive to them. Brazil couldn't react with a disastrous midfield formed by Oscar and Elias. None of the free-kicks was taken by Willian, a big waste. And one more time Douglas Costa couldn't get any close of what he is at Bayern.

But the most surprising thing was Argentina loosing to Ecuador. There's some time that Argentina, despite having a very nice squad, wasn't reaching the level they are able to, anyway their defeat to Ecuador was completely unexpected. But Ecuador has its merits, their tactics and speed made them superior to Argentina the whole game.

Correct. Completely correct, that's why Marcelo Moreno didn't want to play for Bolivia and that is a massive loss because him and Chumacero are the only players who are decent on Bolivia. Bolivia will have a very, very long qualifying campaign this time around. Ecuador will beat them 4-0 minimum next week.

Colombia wasn't that good I agree and we should have drawn against them but we were unlucky to not score. I thought our 2 strikers were anonymous last night however Carillo was unplayable and our midfield wasn't too bad either. Not exactly great in defence, but pretty good still. Only problem is that now we HAVE to beat Chile next week, if not I can't see us qualifying.

The goal that Venezuela conceded was embarrassing and they are also going to have a long qualifying campaign. The loss of Arango will hurt them and while I don't think Sanvicente is necessarily a bad manager, I doubt he'll match the job Farias did at Venezuela.

Brazil was in control in the first half but had nothing else going for them. They weren't creative at all and that cost them when Chile scored the first goal. Brazil have become really, really poor and I think Peru finally has a chance to beat them in Lima.

Despite Ecuador being a good team, I did not expect them to beat Argentina in Buenos Aires, but it was coming. Argentina were absolutely dreadful last night and the 2 wingers Valencia and Montero tore the fullbacks apart. Mas and Roncaglia are not cut to play for Argentina unfortunately. I think a loss to Paraguay will see Martino lose his job.

Next few matches

Paraguay - Argentina

This one is tough to call. Neither were overly impressive in their first games. Paraguay got a bit lucky to come out with all 3 points rather than just 1 in Venezuela because of a blooper. Argentina were absolutely terrible in their first game and without Aguero or Messi, while they still have other great players it will be tougher for them here I think. Going for a 1-0 win for Paraguay here. Think Argentina will start performing next qualifiers rather than on tuesday.

Peru - Chile

Another tough one to call. Chile are playing like real champions now and have improved since we last beat them in Lima. Unfortunately for them, so have we and the gap between us is about the same as the last time we played them in Lima. Being at home though, I think Carillo and Farfan will be crucial for this game and they will give Chile's awful fullbacks nightmares. Despite how well Chile are playing and how I believe them to be the second best team in the continent, I think we will come out with a 2-1 win. Chile weren't excellent against Brazil.

Brazil - Venezuela

I'm not sure if Neymar is back for this, I think he isn't yet. However Venezuela keep getting worse and worse and away to Brazil, I can't see any result for Venezuela. 3-1 win for Brazil.

Uruguay - Colombia

Probably the most unpredictable match. Uruguay are still without Suarez (I believe) and Colombia haven't been performing as well as they did in 2013 and 2014. They weren't too good against us but that said, Uruguay are pretty dull without Suarez. I think a draw is most likely. 1-1

Ecuador - Bolivia

Easy. 4-0 win for Ecuador.

4-0 Ecuador is a bold prediction!
Not looking to the match here tomorrow tbh, People going from pessimistic/pretending not to care to optimistic during the match, then back to pretending they never cared anyway if Peru lose, all with a large helping of hatred towards Chile. Not a fun atmosphere....

Ecuador should batter Bolivia. In case you don't know, Bolivian players are currently on strike and don't want to play for the NT. That's why Marcelo Moreno isn't with the NT at the moment and also why Bolivia lost to Uruguay in La Paz. Ecuador should win pretty easily.

Just saw our record against Chile and its fucking dreadful. In the last 11 games, we've only beaten them once and that was the last time in Lima. Hopefully that doesn't mean too much to us though and we can beat them again in Lima.

I'm seeing a lot of Chileans on another forum say that we aren't their rivals, which is total bullshit considering that its a rivalry no matter how much better than us they are. We have always been their rivals and always will be. Its like saying Juventus aren't Torino's rivals because Juventus are much better than them.

Hope we batter them tomorrow.

Ecuador won 2-0 over Bolivia. They didn't play too well but they got the win though and they should be satisfied with 6 points. Also, happy to see Miller Bolanos get a goal. I really rate him.

Uruguay win 3-0 over Colombia. Colombia have been awful all of 2015. They might not even qualify at this rate.

I say they'll fight for 5th.
