Rodgers was just turning it around I think..big gamble that will ultimately fail.

Points at cameraman "Can you stop until the lady has finished her question."

That's it, start as you mean to go on.

Klopp's hair transplant puts Rooney's to absolute shame. He should have had the procedure done in Germany.

Would have never thought it wasn't a real one! I should contact him when I reach that age.

Could not be more jealous of Liverpool now, Klopp's Dortmund are the most entertaining team of the last decade. And I choose to watch 70% possession with no penetration every week. Not even mentioning how successful he has been.

Boo.

Just glad Klopp ended up at a proper big club rather than take a shortcut with one of the plastic clubs whose managerial positions will be available sooner rather than later.

Such a unique manager would be wasted as a toy for fossil fuel interests

Yep Everton have got Man Utd, then Arsenal, so two defeats straight away, then Sunderland, who will no doubt be improving by the time they play Everton. I can't see them getting any points either:ffs:

Have to say fair play to Ian Ayre and others behind the scenes who managed to pull this coup off. It softens the blow somewhat of last night.

Very Klopptimistic going forward! :D

Klopp is a decent manager but it's going to be hilarious when even he can't get Liverpool going. No top 4 finish IMO during his short stint as Liverpool manager.

I reckon we'll finish in the CL spots whilst he's manager. The more important question is whether we'll repeat what we did a few seasons back under Rodgers and put in a title challenge.

The level of arrogance from some rival fans is astounding considering we were favourites amongst many to finish top 4 back in just March. Rodgers was supposedly shit & underachieved but we're apparently a mile off. Does not compute. Too much protesting going on...

There's no expectancy to win things/finish top 4/whatever, but now there's certainly far more cause to think we can. To write us off completely is amusing, people should probably actually watch football.

Fans are excited. I'm excited. People probably shouldn't give a fuck about it.

You had the Golden Boy and nailed on future World Class Sterling in March. Now you have Milner. :box:

Most people seem to be praising the appointment.

 Woah, now we've got Joe 'Beckenbauer x 1000' Gomez & don't you forget it!

Depends where you look! Honestly, I'm just pleased & excited. It looks like our owners have, since the review in the summer, started to stop looking at half measures. Let's just see how it goes, I'm hopeful and looking forward to seeing what happens.

It's also going to be really, really weird having a manager the media unanimously absolutely adores, and who fans of other clubs actually like too!

Like Christian says all I've seen is positivity about the appointment and that includes rival fans - apart from perhaps Mr. JonnyTodd.

Klopp is a great manager and a very likeable man indeed. I like how he described his self as the normal one when asked in the conference. He has a similar level of charisma to Mourinho but with none of the cuntiness.

I still hope he fails miserably, you understand!

I only look here, brother!

Some people will only focus on the negatives, perhaps throwing in a small praise more akin to a platitude. This happens for most transfers and managerial appointments. It always will.

I just thought your outburst was a little bizarre as 95% of people on here have praised the move, even if begrudgingly.
