John Cena opened Monday Night Raw with an United States Championship open challenge and it was The New Day who made their way to the ring with Xavier Woods answering the challenge.

1# John Cena bt. Xavier Woods Via DQ to retain the WWE United States Championship - **
(Big E & Kofi Kingston interfered in the match to cause the DQ. Post-match, Dudley Boyz came to the ring to save Cena from further onslaught from the New Day.)

2# The New Day bt. Dudley Boyz & John Cena in a Six man tag team match - **

BACKSTAGE - The Authority tell Corporate Kane that Ashley from HR will be evaluating Kane tonight after an anonymous complaint of an unsafe working environment.

3# Big Show bt. Mark Henry - 3/4*

Charlotte and Becky Lynch are the special guest’s on MIZ TV and they speak of the recent actions by Paige, Charlotte calls Paige to the ring but instead gets Team Bella, Nikki claimed it was her who started the divas revolution but Charlotte said it was because of the fans who believed in them. Paige came out and claims it is about her and she is the reason why both Charlotte and Becky Lynch are on TV as she was the 1st ever NXT Women’s Champion. Paige and Nikki trade words until it escalates in to a brawl.

4# Team Bella bt. PCB in a six diva tag team match
(Natalya came to the ring in an attempt to keep the match even, Paige attacked Natalya which distracted Charlotte which led to Nikki picking up the win.)

We see a preview video which highlighted the history between Brock Lesnar and Big Show ahead of their match this upcoming Saturday in Madison Square Garden.

Kane is in the ring with Ashley from HR and she gave Kane an all-clear evaluation saying he is fit to be the director of operations, Seth Rollins then came out in an attempt to convince her that he is not who he seems, Kane then brings up the fact it is Rollins who has a temper and even showed a video to prove it. This angered the WWE World Heavyweight Champion as he came to the ring, attacked Kane by hitting the ‘pedigree’, then he attacked Kane with a steel chair before wrapping the chair on the ankle of Kane and stamping on it. Kane got put in to an ambulance and started to go before the demon Kane emerged from it and took down Rollins before hitting the chokeslam, however Rollins escaped an attempt of the tombstone.

Bray Wyatt came on-screen and spoke of facing Roman Reigns alone tonight.

(King Barrett returned and hit Neville with the ‘Bullhammer’ before Stardust suffered the same fate.)

8# Kevin Owens vs. Rusev in a non-title match ended in a no contest – No Rating
(Ryback was on commentary for the match but he was attacked by both men, post-match, Dolph Ziggler hits the ‘superkick’ on Rusev as Owens fleas the ring.)

Paul Heyman came to the ring and spoke of his client facing Big Show this Saturday night in MSG, a motivated world’s largest athlete then came to the ring and explained what he will do this Saturday – eat, sleep, defeat Lesnar, repeat.

9# Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt ended in a double count-out - **1/2
(Both men brawled on the outside and continued around the arena and both got counted-out, post-match, Wyatt sent Reigns through the security wall before Reigns speared Wyatt through the announce table.)

Hot Summer does not sell herself that cheap.Summer apologizes to "RuRu" and she says she should have thrown away the earrings, she starts to talk about what happened at Night of Champions, but he says that Summer is a woman so she does not know any better.

NXT opens with Kyle Edwards updating us on the Dusty Rhodes tag team classic, we see highlights from this past weekend in Florida, Jason Jordan & Chad Gable defeated the Hype Bros to get a spot in the Semi-Finals, as a result it will be Jason Jordan & Chad Gable vs. Rhyno and Baron Corbin at Takeover. As a result of last weekend where Dawson and Wilder got through to the semi-finals, they will face the winners of the next match, also in the semi-finals at Takeover.

1# Finn Balor & Samoa Joe bt. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady in a 2nd Round match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic - **3/4

We hear from Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa about their experience so far in NXT and they say it's only the beginning. Gargano speaks of facing his friend Apollo Crews tonight, Tyler Breeze comes along and says whoever is a friend of Crews is a foe of his, he then challenged Ciampa for a match tonight.

BACKSTAGE - Dana Brooke & Emma are in William Regal's office where he announces that at Takeover it will be Dana Brooke vs. Asuka, Brooke remained confident until Regal showed her a video of what she is capable of.

Rollins continues to want Kane to admit he is the demon, instead Corporate Kane makes Seth Rollins team with the New Day tonight to face the Dudley Boyz and Seth Rollins' demon himself. Rollins agreed to the match on the premise that Kane would be at ringside which he agreed.

BACKSTAGE - Charlotte and Becky Lynch are interviewed by Jojo about Paige, Paige comes along and received an ultimatum by Charlotte and Lynch - you're either with us or against us. Natalya then comes along and warns Paige that if she disrespects her again like she did on Raw, then she will wish she never met her.

2# Ryback bt. Kevin Owens Via count-out in a WWE Intercontinental Championship match - **
(Post-match, Owens attempted to powerbomb Ryback on the ring apron but it was Ryback who took down the Intercontinental Champion and hit Owens with the "shell shocked".)

3# Lucha Dragons & Neville bt. The Ascension & Stardust in a Six man tag team match - **1/4

The Wyatt Family come to the ring and Bray Wyatt addresses Roman Reigns after their match on Raw, Reigns comes to the ring alone and after a long confrontation with Wyatt uttered the words, "Hell In A Cell".

4# The Dudley Boyz & Demon Kane bt. The New Day in a six man tag team match - **
(Corporate Kane was at ringside until he was taken out by Rollins by accident so he was escorted to the locker room. Demon Kane came to the ring as Rollins made a feline for it, once the Dudley Boyz got the win, Kane chokeslammed them and the New Day before hitting Woods with a tombstone, then demon Kane raised the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt.)

(Xavier Woods interfered in the match to cause the DQ, post-match, The New Day continued the beatdown on the Dudleyz until they fought back and hit Woods with a 3D through a table.)

(Post-match, Lesnar returned to the ring and hit a "belly to back Suplex" on the world's largest athlete before hitting a second F5.)

7# John Cena bt. Seth Rollins in a "Steel Cage match" to retain the WWE United States Championship - ***1/2
(Demon Kane came to ringside which stopped Rollins from climbing over, Rollins then attempted a splash from the top of the cage but missed as Cena hit the AA to get the 3. Post-match, Kane got in to the cage and hit Rollins with a chokeslam and finished with a tombstone.)

Monday Night Raw opens with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar, Heyman spoke of Lesnar conquering "the Giant" this past Saturday in Madison Square Garden then spoke about Lesnar vs. The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell. Heyman revisits what happened at Wrestlemania 30 and then how the Undertaker wasn't deadman enough to get revenge at Summerslam, however Heyman said on October 25th at Hell in a Cell it will be the last time Brock Lesnar will ever face the Undertaker, and one man will not be walking out of the cell at all. Big Show then interrupted proceeding to extend his hand to Lesnar but Lesnar laughed in his face and walked away, Show told Lesnar he hoped he loses again at Hell In A Cell, this angered Lesnar as he hit the world's largest athlete with a "belly to belly" suplex before hitting the F5.

1# Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & Randy Orton bt. The Wyatt Family in a Six man tag team match - ***1/4
(Post-match, Reigns told Wyatt that he will be the one who ends it at Hell in A Cell.)

2# Sheamus bt. Neville
(King Barrett was on commentary for the match, he distracted Neville which led to Sheamus hitting the 'brogue kick', then getting the 3.)

Corporate Kane comes to the ring and suggests that that despite being in a walking boot, Rollins needs a partner tonight after Lesnar took out the Big Show and wants Rollins to suggest his partner should be him. Rollins comes out and says that he isn't playing in to Kane's mind games before insulting Tom Brady, Kane spoke of a poster he has in his office on having to face your "demons", Stephanie McMahon then came to the ring and made Seth Rollins vs. Demon Kane for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell. Stephanie then agreed to have Kane team with Rollins to face the Dudley Boyz tonight, she did make one final stipulation for Hell in a Cell, if Demon Kane doesn't win then Corporate Kane will be relieved of his duties.

3# Natalya bt. Paige Via Submission - **1/2
4# Kevin Owens bt. Sin Cara in a non-title match
(Post-match, Owens attacked Kalisto and was going to powerbomb him on the apron, however Ryback made the save as Owens made an escape through the crowd.)

BACKSTAGE – Stephanie McMahon was on her phone when the New Day walked up to her chanting her name despite her saying she is busy, she commented to them that she saw what happened this past Saturday and as a result it will be the New Day vs. Dudley Boyz for the WWE Tag Team Championship at Hell in a Cell.

The entire WWE roster is on the stage with John Cena and Roman Reigns in the ring with 9 breast cancer survivors, Cena spoke of the WWE teaming with Susan G.Komen to fight breast cancer and save lives as October is Breast cancer awareness month and WWE has gone pink to show support to the women fighting the disease. They speak of the women having true fighting spirit and how the WWE Universe can go to WWEShop.com to get the gear, and join the fight.

5# Dudley Boyz bt. Seth Rollins & Corporate Kane Via DQ - **1/4
(The Dudleyz grabbed a table from underneath the ring but Rollins dropkicked it in to them to cause the DQ, previous to this, Rollins handcuffed corporate Kane to the ring but when it broke and Kane got knocked off the ring apron, Kane got helped to the back but not before giving Rollins a demonic smile. After the match was over, Demon Kane attacked Seth Rollins but it was the Dudley Boyz who hit Kane with the 3D to exact some revenge after what happened this past Thursday on Smackdown. Dudley Boyz left the ring, but Rollins brought a table in to the ring with intention of putting Kane through it, however Rollins was then chokeslammed through it.)

Team B.A.D and Team Bella both trade words before the match with Sasha Banks reveling in being in her hometown, then Nikki spoke of how neither Banks or the Red Sox will win any titles in October before speaking of the Yankees, when Naomi referred to Nikki being used to going all the way after Nikki spoke of going all the way at Hell in a Cell when she gets her rematch for the WWE Divas Championship. Banks told her that it doesn’t matter who the champion is at Hell in a Cell because they’re keeping the title warm for her, both teams were ready to get “real” before the match begins.

6# Team B.A.D bt. Team Bella in a Six diva tag team match - **

Summer Rae is in the ring and she introduces Rusev, she wanted to dedicate the Raw segment to him and honour him before we see a sappy video package of her and Rusev’s relationship. Summer then got a box out of her bra and asked him to marry her, Rusev said that he will marry her but not yet, he wants gold around his waist then she can have gold around his finger.

This Thursday night on Smackdown, it will be Roman Reigns & Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt & Braun Strowman.

John Cena makes his way to the ring to issue a WWE United States Championship open challenge, Ziggler’s music hits but he didn’t show, the New Day then come out and bring a fallen Ziggler with them. Woods spoke of Cena talking about getting serious, then questions Cena if this was serious enough for him. They speculate who will answer the challenge before revealing it will be Big E.

(Post-match, The New Day attacked Cena in a 3 on 1 attack until Ziggler ran down to make the save, Ziggler tried to clean house but ended up superkicking Cena by accident, The New Day quickly assault Ziggler before the Dudley Boyz run down to the ring before the New Day leave Cena, Zigger and the Dudley Boyz lying in the ring.)

Kevin Owens opened Main Event and spoke about the speculation of who will be the WWE superstar of the year, Owens then claimed that the only acceptable answer was himself. Owens then took exception to the commentators speaking of Chris Jericho's 25th anniversary last weekend in MSG instead of speaking of Owens being the Intercontinental Champion at MSG for the first time. Owens referred to Saxton as disrespectful and a bully, Owens then goads Jimmy Uso to get in the ring, Jimmy Uso says that he is done talking before Owens leaves the ring. After the commercial, we learn that tonight it will be Kevin Owens vs. Jimmy Uso.

The New Day open the show and spoke of neither John Cena, Dolph Ziggler or the Dudley Boyz being able to stop the power of positivity this past Monday on Raw. They insulted the hometown football team before speaking of the Dudley Boyz “conning” their way in to another wwe Tag Team Championship match, however The New Day spoke of ridding the WWE of them. Dolph Ziggler came out and said that tonight, the authority has given him a shot at retribution after his WWE United States Championship shot was stolen from him on Raw, and the retribution was a match against Big E.

(Kofi Kingston cheapshotted Ziggler as Xavier Woods distracted the referee, Kingston held Ziggler’s foot down so he was unable to kick out of the 3 count.)

2# Charlotte, Becky Lynch & Natalya bt. Team Bella Via Submission in a six diva tag team match - *3/4
(Post-match, Renee Young interviewed Paige backstage and Paige took exception to them being called ‘NCP’ as Paige claimed it was still PCB and she doesn’t like Natalya.)

(Kevin Owens was on commentary for the match.)

Bray Wyatt comes on-screen and talks about facing Roman Reigns inside Hell In A Cell, Wyatt also said he will put Reigns down. Wyatt turned his attention to tonight and said Reigns and Orton will face his judgement in the black sheep before Strowman comes on-screen and refers to them as hunting rabbits.

Stardust comes on-screen and picks out a card which he has chosen from a pack.

(Bray Wyatt used a chair which cause the DQ, post-match, Wyatt layed out Roman Reigns again with the steel chair. Randy Orton got back in to the ring and along with Reigns took down both men with Orton hitting Wyatt with an RKO before Reigns hit him with a spear.)

The show opens with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon on the phone with Corporate Kane, they tell him that they are running really late and they have not left yet. In light of this, Corporate Kane announced that tonight, he will face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins in a Lumberjack match.

Dean Ambrose comes to the ring and welcomes us to Monday Night Raw, Ambrose says that he is here for a fight. Randy Orton comes to the ring and said that he and Ambrose will be teaming to face Luke Harper and Braun Strowman at Hell in a Cell, both Ambrose and Orton speak of not being able to trust each other and who leads the team, The New Day interrupt and tell both men they should be talking about the New Day after they took down Dolph Ziggler, John Cena and the Dudley Boyz last week on Raw; they even commented how The Shield, the Authority, Evolution or even Legacy could do that. Corporate Kane came on-screen and said that the inmates aren’t running the asylum tonight, he is, therefore he makes The New Day vs. Dean Ambrose & Randy Orton right now.

1# Kofi Kingston & Big E bt. Randy Orton & Dean Ambrose in a non-title match - **3/4

We see a preview video for Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker in 13 days in Hell in a Cell.

2# Nikki Bella bt. Naomi - *
(During the match, Brie Bella got on the announce table and chanted, “we want Sasha”. Sasha Banks took down Brie but this distracted Naomi as Nikki hit her with the forearm and hit the “Rack Attack”, and got the 3.)

John Cena came to the ring and issued another WWE United States Championship open challenge, and it was answered by the man who got beaten down last week before the challenge, Dolph Ziggler.

Roman Reigns comes to the ring and speaks of the fact that himself vs. Bray Wyatt is all about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, he spoke of their battles which started at Money in the Bank when Bray Wyatt cost him the Money in the Bank ladder match, the battles continued and as they did, the Wyatt Family got bigger. Reigns focused on the fact that Wyatt had stopped him doing things for this loved ones and details what he will do to Wyatt at Hell in a Cell. The Wyatt Family comes out with Wyatt claiming that it is Roman Reigns who is trying to convince himself.

BACKSTAGE – Corporate Kane is once again speaking to the authority with the line repeatedly cutting out when he is asked what the main event is tonight.

7# Ryback bt. Rusev – 3/4*
(Post-match, Summer Rae shows the article from TMZ which shows that Lana and Rusev are engaged, Rae called Rusev a “whipped little boy”, she then went in to a tirade calling him amongst other things an egotistical, self-centred bastard, she then slapped him before leaving the ring.)

9# Brie Bella & Alicia Fox bt. Charlotte & Becky Lynch – 1/2*
(When Natalya was coming to the ring to the aid of Becky Lynch and Charlotte, Paige who was on commentary for the match, pushed her before Natalya got taken down.)

BACKSTAGE – Corporate Kane finally told the Authority the main event for tonight and was warned that under no circumstance should he face Seth Rollins tonight. Moments later, Corporate Kane bumped in to Seth Rollins to inform him that he won’t be facing him tonight, but he will find a suitable replacement.

Live next week on Raw from Dallas, we will see appearances from Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Ric Flair and Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman came to the stage, they spoke of avenging the tainted victory from Summerslam and spoke of how Undertaker lusts to avenge Brock Lesnar ending his Wrestlemania undefeated streak. Heyman spoke of Lesnar's dominance over the deadman before Undertaker challenged Lesnar for a fight right now, Lesnar resisted and headed back up the ramp.

Michaels spoke of Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt inside Hell in a Cell before Seth Rollins interrupted, Rollins bemoaned how Michaels didn't introduce him and he should be speaking about Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell, Rollins then claimed he was a much better version 2 of Michaels. The showstopper told Rollins how he never thought of being a version 2 of anybody, they spoke of the Demon Kane before Rollins claimed he will defeat him this Sunday. When Rollins was done he asked to play his music, this was before Michaels informed he will be facing Ryback in a match next.

The Nature Boy announced that tonight, Dean Ambrose will team with Roman Reigns before Reigns came to the ring. The Wyatt Family came down before Reigns set two chairs in the ring for himself and Bray Wyatt, Reigns claimed that Wyatt is scared alone and spoke how they will end “this” on Sunday. Wyatt made the first move towards Reigns but Reigns took down the Wyatt Family, and also the returning Erick Rowan, with a steel chair.

The new number 1 contender - Roman Reigns, opened up Monday Night Raw from Denver to speak about Seth Rollins and being the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Seth Rollins came out to dismiss Reigns' claim that he will do what no one else has and take the title from him, Rollins also tells Reigns that despite him being good, he will always be remembered as the guy who carried his bags. Reigns and Rollins were both ready for a fight, however it was thwarted when the Authority came out and teased the fans in attendance a battle between both men, but in the end announced that they will fight at the Survivor Series. Triple H announced that tonight, we will have a traditional Survivor Series 5 on 5 tag team elimination match where Team Rollins will face Team Reigns.
