Sutton 3 Havant & Waterlooville 0 (attendance 979)

We were very comfortable today, 2 classic goalhanging goals in the 1st half from Craig McCallister (the 2nd being an amusing and accidental backheel flick over his head) and a classic Craig Dundas strike in the 2nd half gave Sutton all 3 points.

Havant had a man sent off for a punch on Simon Downer, and no shots on target.

We're 5th now, getting ready for a classic Sutton surge

So yeah, attendance officially of 602 in which Bath were so on top it was criminal (and they had a good 60-70 supporters there, top effort). On the opening day of the season at Twerton Park I was questioning how we lost a game in which we were so on top and yet Bath supporters will be asking the same thing tonight. I question our management staff at the best of times, but our players are so often out of position it becomes a joke far too often.

Whitehawk at home on Monday. I expect them to slaughter us. UTS!

Haha. Identical Attendance of 602 for Alfreton and Stones today. Vital win for you guys. Pity we couldnt do the same on that front!

Comfortable win for us, although we let them get back into it in the last ten. Could have been 5 or 6 up at that point, we played some of the best football I've seen all season. Kedwell and Godden up front are class.

So we somehow chalked up another 1-0 win. Seriously struggling to recall whether we even had a shot on target. Dire game.

I'd happily take 1-0 wins all season if it meant going up.

As it is though, we're actually playing some really good stuff this season.

So apparently we signed winger/striker Charles Banya (ex Fulham, Crawley & Woking)

Anyone got an opinion on him??

Pretty quick, does the simple things well. Very lightweight though. Was earning his place in our side a season or so ago until he fell out with the management. Was actually on trial with us in pre-season but didn't do enough. Played on the left for us but he seems to fancy himself as a striker. Generally his quality in the final third lets him down. Should be a good Conference South player.

So we gone and done it again!! we won 1-0

2nd in the league but 4th lowest scorers......rather bizarre to say the least

Ebbsfleet and the bottom 3 aside*, it's a stupidly tight league this season. Six points seperate Sutton in 5th and Eastbourne in 15th. So, even after the majority of teams have played 18 games, it's still a very tight league. A few results could change the composistion of the league.

Our biggest problem so far this season is the number of draws we've managed. 7, which is the same as the number of games won.

*Even though the bottom 3 are a little adrift of the chasing pack, Weston are only 4 points off of Havant, who on Saturday's evidence are very poor. Ebbsfleet may currently be 7 points ahead of 2nd, but even that lead is historically assaible in the Conference South

Wealdstone 2-2 Whitehawk (Att: 545)

What is it about 2-2 draws against teams on the South coast nicknamed the Hawks on Monday nights that are so entertaining? The Monday night game against Havant last season was enjoyable to watch, as was tonight.

Whitehawk are very impressive, pass the ball around fluently and have speed to burn down the flanks. That said they pressed the ball intermittently and allowed us to play our best passing football all season. Dale Binns - outstanding.

I've criticised Johnny Wright and Josh Hutchinson this season but both shut me up tonight. Hutchinson's finish to grab that point in the 93rd/94th minute was a thing of beauty, lovely side footed finish into the bottom corner from a short corner. Play like that all season and we'll be more than OK.

Spoke to a couple of Whitehawk supporters at HT, both sound lads. They had around 15 here tonight which I thought was a commendable effort. I also noticed Dean Brennan and Stuart Maynard from Hemel scouting us and/or Whitehawk tonight.

Maidstone away in the Kent Senior Cup. What else you gonna do on a Tuesday evening when you have to be up at 4 for work?

Up the Fleet.

10 quid to watch what will pretty much be a youth/reserve game is abit pricey to say the least. Add in it being a Tuesday & the cold weather......i'd be surprised if the crowd breaks 500 tonight

Literally men against boys. We got well and truly hammered

Any chance Sheringham is available?? hes down the pecking order for you guys & looks like he could be more useful then some of our current forwards

I really dunno whats wrong with Frannie Collin...everytime hes played this season he just doesnt look interested. To think 3-4 years ago he won the golden boot at this level. Now he looks a shell of his former self :(

Did you have your youth team out?

We played a second string which is still more than capable in this league. Clearly didn't want to risk first team regulars hence putting McMahon and Stacy Long on the bench.

Sheringham will be knocking on the door of the first team if he carries on, but Godden and Kedwell are on fire lately.

Absolutely gutted for Lloyd Harrington. Suffered a cruciate injury in 2013 (while playing for Dover) and has played about 5 games since. Stretchered off last night on his debut for us a year after signing.

The keeper & our whole defence were youth players

The rest were bench warmers, players coming back from injury & a trialist

Looking at that team you put out i honestly think it would be playoff challengers.....why our team we put out would struggle in the league below

We have Wimbledon away in the Youth Cup tomorrow. I think had that not been happening we would have played 6 or 7 of our youth lads. Great to see Osborn have a good game. The lads a trier but not sure if his end product is good enough. Young though and room to improve.

Adam Cunnington won't even get a look in now.

Unbelievable depth in our squad at the moment. Still can't believe young Lloyd Harrington. Absolutely rotten luck.

Saw him in the bar before the game with Jordan Parkes playing some game with a penny

To say he looked pissed off would be an understatement

Sounds fun. Ha.

He came in last season and scored 13 in, I think, 19, in a side that was going nowhere. Daryl has completely changed that and Kedwell and Godden are on fire. And with Haynes, Sheringham and Cunnington for back up, something has to give...

Haynes will go end of season. Cunnington could go in Jan. Sad to see, but when you have the players we have, 1 or 2 will always be unhappy.

I know a club who could use a goalscorer...

And another 1-0 win for the Stones away at H&R courtesy of an injury time winner. Will need to step it up before Maidenheads visit Tuesday evening.

James Gray and Graham Golds have resigned from St. Albans this evening after being thumped 4-0 at Lowestoft in the FA Trophy today.

Jesus, you do love a 1-0!!

4-1 for us. We were so so poor barring the first 15 minutes in which we scored 3. Really should have been a cricket score. We let them back into it and they would have made it 3-2 but for a dubious free kick call from the officials.

Hopefully another home game in the next round and then a mammoth trip in round two. I do miss the M6.

I missed the first two goals (who goes for a burger and a piss a minute into the game?!) so may have a look when I get home from work!

Shame there's no highlights from the league game at your gaff!
