Why do people go the gym in buddies? And still wear the huddie whilst 'lifting'. Not sure if I hate this...or how I feel about it tbh

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Twitter's reaction to International Men's Day.

Apparently wondering if there's anything that society could do about suicide being the single biggest killer of men aged 18-50 makes you a mysogenist, a sexist, and probably a rapist, too.

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
Colleagues who want to talk to me in the tube while I'm reading.

Annoying.
My mum and my son do this when I'm reading. The situation is compounded when it's just inane rubbish they want to talk about.

Honestly ring up and threaten to cancel. Stay polite and they'll offer you something off the bill. I've just done it because the monthly bill was getting out of hand and they gave me a 40 quid reduction. Good luck

'Pinging' the button on my trousers 5 minutes before I was interviewing someone. I managed to cobble a way of holding them up but was praying it held when I got up to shake his hand at the end. That would have been embarrassing!

I did that a while ago and got half price for six months (or something similar)

Might have to try my luck again
Yeah, we did it in the summer.

Cancelled it and the day after the picture went we got a letter through to give them a call and now have a better package for £21/month. Had up to Sky Sports but now have movies, too, which is a waste of time because I don't think anyone's actually watched one!

I threaten to leave Sky every year. It's never failed to get me a decent 9 month discount.

Snow can become annoying after 2-3 weeks, especially if it's prevented the trains from running correctly (which doesn't take much, as we know) and stopped me from getting to work. But anyone who isn't at least a little moved by newly falling snow that is just starting to turn the ground white is basically soulless.

Cold and flu remedy adverts that are based entirely on 'We'll make you feel just not shit enough to struggle into work, where you'll be ineffective, because you still feel QUITE shit, and can get on with infecting everyone you work with, so everyone ends up doing nothing, but well done you for fighting in....'

I'm convinced it's all a conspiracy from the manufacturers to ensure maximum infection rates and boost sales.

I agree. I remember the winter of 2010 when there was an incredible 18 inches of snow in Scunny and it was a winter wonderland. It wasn't that deep in this video but i love the lyrics:lol:

I don't mind the snow as much, it's the ice that forms afterwards. Makes for really dangerous driving conditions.

I have the pleasure of the A15 every day. At the time, it was about a 30 minute journey and it took me 2.5 hours to get home.

Nah, their TV service is shit. Or, more to the point, Youview is. I went back to Sky 12 months ago, tempted by the offer of getting a 2TB box for £50. Also, people can say what they like about them (including me, frequently) but their UI is the best out there. I'm still with BT for fibre though.
