I'd sit through a 10 minute Cesaro promo to not sit through this feud.

Reigns isn't SO bad, but Sheamus is literally about as interesting as giving the great wall of China a paint job with a toothbrush.

Reigns is perfectly decent if you ignore the dirtsheet crap tbh, always liked him, he's not that bad when you don't view it through "OMG HE IS CENA II" that was heavily pushed. People need to stop viewing him as what "he might be" and what he actually is, which is a perfectly competent wrestlers whose put on some good matches, he aint perfect but few on the roster are.

Sheamus could be good, but they've done standard MITB booking where they make zero effort to do anything with them until suddenly they show up with the briefcase.

Reigns is shifting far too much merchandise for them to turn him heel at the moment. If anyone is turning heel at SS it'll be Ambrose, though I would love to see Cesaro be the man The Authority turn to.

Plus i'm in the camp of Reigns has grown on me this year. I thought it was too soon for him to be headlining WM this year so i'm glad Rollins saved us a Reigns title run there but he's got his head down and he's obviously been working hard as you can see the improvement. Lets be honest he's done a much better job at improving that Eva Marie :D

I'm a fan of Reigns and think it's sad that he was booed out of his Wrestlemania moment. There was nobody on the roster to really challenge Brock at Wrestlemania. Roman was over, done great stuff with the Shield and we cry out for a new main event star....But Daniel Bryan gets eliminated from the Rumble...Philly fans bitch and turn on Roman and rest is history.

Rollins as champion has been shite...He's amazing in the ring and his entire reign was full of him predictably expected to keep his title in matches. Only time I thought it was at risk was during times in the Sting match.

I credit Roman for working hard and putting on a brilliant cell match with Wyatt. I do think though a heel turn and him being a heel badass whooping everyone will be interesting rather than the whole slimey Rollins being baled out by the authority.

Anonymous reckon ISIS are planning to attack Survivor Series.

What a time for Cena to be on hiatus and Hogan to be an exiled racist.

They're seriously repeating the Daniel Bryan push. Oh dear. Of all the interesting, cool things they could have done they chose the bland option. Sheamus vs Reigns programme :msi:

Was very impressed at the quality of match Del Rio & Reigns put on. Part of that is obviously down to Reigns continued improvement but also a lot is down to Del Rio so both men deserved props for that quality of match. Reigns went over as expected.

Second semi final was also a good match, not as good as the first one but both men went over strong. Owens time will come in a couple of years without doubt. Ambrose vs Reigns was the final everyone was surely expecting anyway so lets see what it brings.

Before I talk about the next match JBL got fed a bollocks line. "Sheamus is only the second man after Edge to be a Royal Rumble winner and Mr MITB" err does John Cena not count then? Oh and Wade Barrett dancing haha! The match itself was the usual 5 on 5 stuff. New Day walking out after Big E got eliminated oopsy. Finishing sequence was a nice touch too. Sin Cara stole the show though, wasn't expecting that to happen.

Divas match was actually pretty good. We know these pair can work a match together so it should have been good anyway. Charlotte retaining was always going to happen, Paige will have her time again in the future. Roll on Sasha vs Charlotte and hopefully that'll happen going forward now.

Breeze vs Ziggler was ok, it didn't flow as well as you expect a Ziggler match to flow. Breeze continues to use the Killswitch to good effect. Breeze needed the win for his debut feud. I think they'll get one more match out of this though.

BOD and The Wyatts had a proper old school tag matc feel to it. The result was never in doubt however the inlcusion of Harper over Strowman says a lot about the faith they have in Harper to pull out a good match. Taking out Rowan early allowed less interference which was good and Strowman did take the table spot well so props to him for that. Bray does need to start winning feuds now so hopefully they'll put him in a feud heading towards TLC that he will win. Though a strong showing at the Royal Rumble will build him up just as well.

Main event was pretty good too for a short match. Both men coming out looking strong is a win/win for WWE though you have to wonder if Ambrose will turn heel in the near future or not. Nice moment with Reigns seemingly thanking Dean too. Confetti at an event other than WM? Something else is going down here.

Called it here comes Trips....Reigns to Authority? Or is it Daniel Bryan all over again? Spear hahaha, Reigns vs HHH in the future then? Reigns taking Rollins place in that potential match interesting.

Sheamus brogue kick haha it's Daniel Bryan all over again! MITB curse strikes again. Win MITB, lose everything for 6 months, cash in and win the title haha. Reigns is so winning the title for good at WM, it's a mix of the HBK & Daniel Bryan fairytale ending coming.

Very enjoyable PPV indeed, can't fault it at all.

Soon as the main event finished I loaded up this site ready to moan about how shit that was and complain at how annoying seeing Reigns and Ambrose constantly sucking each other off is, but the ending made it slightly better, it was still shit and the reason I barely watch WWE anymore but at least it was interesting.

Called it spot on...Reigns was handed the title with 10 minutes of programming left. Sheamus as Champion has never worked and it won't work and I'll probably not watch Raw till Rumble to Wrestlemania season.

Just bored of it...recycled storylines. Triple H gets Orton, Rollins and now Sheamus with Reigns a guy who the fans just don't like it as the top face to fight the odds like Daniel Bryan. Fed up of this Authority storyline, just boring! Don't see how Sheamus as Champion in the Authority with Reigns chasing will revive the ratings.

It would have been fantastic if Wyatts won. Wyatt is a glorified jobber, never wins the big match, his sidekicks never seem to be in tag team title race and they'll probably do a random run in on....Brock? Sting...if he recovers? Only for Wyatt to get beat again.

One shining light they have are guys like Ziggler and Ambrose but they never give those boys the spotlight.

Just very underwhelmed right now.

Really struggling to see why people think Ambrose is the answer to be brutally honest, Ziggler too. Last night imo Ambrose was very average, his match with Owens was the exact same "babyface gets beat up then comes back with a flourish" type booking people get into a fit over with Reigns and Cena etc, Owens was carrying that match big time and the final was just so short but he did nothing of consequence to suggest he is an elite level talent who would somehow do much better than Reigns could have. On the mic he's never really produced anything memorable in the WWE, in fact that is my biggest issue with him, I can't think of any great moments involving Ambrose as a singles wrestler. At a push his HITC match with Rollins, meanwhile Reigns has had great matches with a number of people and had imo the best match of the night vs Del Rio last night.

For all the shortcomings people highlight with Reigns, it baffles me that they see guys like Cesaro (granted he is injured now), Ziggler and Ambrose as the answer. Ziggler isn't convincing on the mic, Cesaro is flat out abysmal on it and Ambrose has done nothing to suggest he can carry the show. These are the same reasons say don't push Reigns.

The issue is they have no commitment to long term booking, they keep holding off with Reigns because of a set of fans who've become WAY too powerful with their disgruntled behaviour so his booking is very stop start and does him no favours, they keep trying to sell Wyatt as a big deal and never give him the wins to support it. They seem very hot and cold, push/depush making rash short term decisions instead of committing to an idea and seeing it through. They're trying to please too many demographics at once and it makes the shows and angles very muddled and undersells the talent they really do have,

Ambrose is the last guy I'd like to see them put the title on.

Sheamus is the second last.

I would have liked to see Reigns cave in and accept the help of the authority to win the title as a heel leading to a feud with a face Rollins - though the injury to Seth puts that one on the back-burner.

It's not all about mic work though. Cesaro is probably the best wrestler on the roster at the moment, it's a shame he got injured as he would have been nailed on for an upper mid card role heading towards the Rumble. Ambrose is very much Foley lite in terms of how his current character is going, the fans love him but he just doesn't quite have IT to be there. Ziggler can sell and do not a lot much else, never seen the fascination with him to be honest.

Reigns has improved leaps and bounds it's just a shame they are recycling the sympathy storyline for him to get his big moment probably at WM. Hopefully he'll get the strap earlier than that so the pressure isn't on big time again. I'd like to see him do for Sheamus at TLC, then give him the strap until Fast Lane before giving him a non title bout at WM.

Of course it isn't all about mic work, but this is the major reason of any validity people have to be so adamantly anti-Reigns, the rest is very petty or entirely subjective. It's often the reason people say he can't be the "top guy" on the show because he can't carry it on the mic, yet I see so many say "Ambrose should be champ", "Give Ziggler the belt". People seem happy to ignore the inadequacies of some (which imo don't actually have to be an issue) that they enjoy but are massively picky to those they don't and there is a quite vocal minority which wields a lot of power over booking. Maybe I am getting the wrong impression but Ambrose seems a lot like Ziggler, resigned to inadequacy and getting sloppy and stale as a result of it.

Reigns suffers so much from his booking, they do not exploit the "bad ass" vibe he gives off anywhere near enough. He should be just "opening a can of whoop ass" and being a "powerhouse" and beating people down who dare question his character. Instead he is this "sympathetic" figure, it doesn't work for him. It's the same for so many, they're booked with watered down gimmicks or utterly undermined (like Wyatt, he's a cult leader who has no definable goals and NEVER backs up his threats because they job him out).

Hell, look at Sheamus. He is WWE Champ... yet what have they done with him since MITB? They soiled any credibility he had already and made him out to be a total loser, an afterthought and a total non-entity because they have it in their brains a cash in makes them instantly credible, but it doesn't. Imagine how less underwhelming this would be if they'd had heel Sheamus tear through the midcard and dominating people looking like a legitimate threat who then outright declared he was going to cash in on the winner. Then you could have had Ambrose and Reigns stand side by side as he marched down to the ring and perhaps had one betray the winner or have "mysteriously vanished" as their "brother" gets beat down to add some intrigue whilst also having a new credible champion who hasn't been made to look like pig shit for months.

Mehhh. Would have been happy with either winning if they'd done something unexpected but it feel flat and the crowd was pretty dead. Match can't even have been 10 mins either.

Was happy at first when Sheamus cashed in but then had a moment of realisation that we have to suffer through a Sheamus title run now. Reigns heel turn/authority alignment was my preferred option but knew they wouldn't take that risk.

Agree with a lot of the points above (though am an Ambrose fan). Reigns suffers from them trying to create Cena 2.0 and it just doesn't fit whatsoever. If he had a bit more freedom to be the badass like he could be (hence my hope for a heel run) then he could be huge.

Pretty dull PPV, I'd have liked to of seen Team BOD vs Team Wyatt instead of a tag match.

Sheamus can fuck off, he's boring.

WWE are really lost at the minute.

Main event actually turned out alright, even though the crowd shat on it in parts. Enjoyed the end with Roman showing how he should be.

Decent PPV on the whole, the tag team ladder match was fantastic.

Pleased with the ending, let's get back to the bad ass Reigns, I loved him in the Shield but can't stand him lately. Nobody wants to see him talk and try and be funny with stupid lines, let him kick arse and look at the reaction he got at the end last night.

Shocked Ambrose won didn't see that one coming.

Looks like Charlotte is turning heel which may work better for her.

Can't believe next PPV (excluding nxt) is Rumble, haven't a fucking clue who's going to win it.

Oh and probably an unpopular opinion but can't say I missed Ziggler last night.....

Tag Title ladder match - Best ladder match in ages. Kalisto took it above and beyond with his performance pure brilliance. They want a Mexican star? Look no further than him. Thoroughly enjoyed this match from start to finish. Even Xavier on commentary talking abou 2K16 and stamina haha, oh and correcting both King and Cole on getting Kalisto/Sin Cara mixed up, genius.

Rusev/Ryback was a dencet hard hitting contest. Lana has slotted back into being a heel easy enough. I hope this is the start of a decent push again for Rusev as he is pretty damn good in the ring and perhaps deserves that upper mid card slot going forward.

Del Rio/Swagger was another match I enjoyed. I'm glad it wasn't a squash as they have the chance to use Swagger as a solid mid card talent now he's back. They can go two ways with him, either align him back with Zeb or don't either way he can boost the mid-card. Del Rio rightly wins and moves on. I do wonder if we'll get one more match out of this feud though.

The tables match was a fun match not brilliant, not horrific. Would have been better to see the flaming table though.

Owens/Ambrose I thought could have been much better if they gave them more time. It didn't flow well at all for me, but i'm sure that's a one off for both men. Surprised at the outcome too.

Divas title match was pretty decent. The match worked well and the finish continues Charlotte's morph into the female version of Daddy. It's also interesting to see that at the age of 23 Paige is the go to girl to put over the newer talent when she's only been there what 2 years herself?

We want Cena chants at the start of the main event. I know it's a Cena home town crowd but that's not good for Reigns or Sheamus.

Very good TLC main event there. Super hard hitting and the predictable LON help. Question is where were The Usos/Ambrose to help Reigns?

Brilliant post match beatdown by Roman. They needed to do something like this earlier this year. This is how you portray and build Reigns. Just wonder when Roman vs Trips happens WM perhaps?

Really enjoyed this PPV, bring on Raw.

Wonder if they'll do the old fire Reigns and bring him back at the Royal Rumble where he wins? Personally, I think he'd get a fair bit of heat for that.

I'd say it has been one of the better PPV's for a long time good matches top to bottom for me. The main event did drag a little at times but it is worth watching start to finish.
