I think I laughed more times during that episode than I have during the rest of the 9 series added together.

That was excellent. Up there in the funniest episodes of the lot, I think.

Yeah, some great moments in that episode - Mark's manic giggling at the eyelid drawing, his eyeshadow, the blue cheese... really good.

I've never watched Peep Show other than the odd bit as I've been channel hopping but the clips posted in here have made me want to watch it. I have therefore downloaded the first two series'. Watched episodes 1&2 this morning and was very impressed. Chuckling to myself on the train means I get a free seat next to me every morning so it's good news all round.

Thanks guys.

Enjoyed all three episodes so far, will be sad to see it go but it has to end at some point.

9 series is a great innings.

Agree with others, that last episode is up there as one of the funniest ever.

Flying through this. Half way through series 7. I can't believe I haven't seen it before, hilarious.

I've been impressed with the quality of this series. I was a little worried it would peter out to nothing but doesn't seem to be the case at all.

Actually makes me question why it has to end. I understand their logic, but it's still working thus far. I suppose it's better to go out before the show gets shit, rather than after.

Tbf series 5-8 (the Dobby years) were all pretty rubbish. Series 8 was particularly terrible. This series is an Indian summer but it's an overdue ending.

Admittedly they weren't great, but there were some decent episodes. The christian rock festival and the one where Mark misses his son's christening because he got locked in Zahra's house stand out in my mind.

I think it was more about creative fatigue than anything else. They've had a long time to come up with ideas and refine the scripts so they're all so dense this time around and it shows.

Last night's was good. Presume they worked backwards from the idea of Jez letting a snake loose in a soft play area.

Maybe it's because I've binge watched the entire lot in a couple of weeks but I'm kind of looking forward to it ending now. Found it hilarious at the start, waned a little in the middle with a few great bits but now I'm struggling to finish it. Not sure I've found too much of this latest series that funny to be honest.

This last series has been the best, imo. Okay, the first five or six seasons are not too fresh in my mind, but this 9th series has been hilarious and brilliant. Just watched the 5th episode, my favourite bit has to be Mark burying Sophie in the ball pit. Kinda shame it has to end while being so good, but at the end of the day it's always better to finish on a high.

Seriously? You might want to watch those first 5 series again then because you'll see that the current one is one of the worst. It's probably slightly better than series 8 but that's not saying much. I can't wait for it to end and I never thought I'd be saying that seeing as it's one of my favourite shows ever.

Alright then lads, who has been the fittest Peep Show babe? Elena, right?

Nancy deserves a shout. Might even prefer her to Elena. That series 4 episode where Nancy was in the sauna, mein gott.

However, if we're talking not only about the looks but the overall character, I find Dobby very sexy. Just the right combination of easy-going, peculiar and intelligent.

I was hoping for a happier ending. And in a way it didn't even feel like a proper ending to me, that everything just went back to the way it had always been.

Anyway, it was 80% comedy and 20% drama show, not that the ending matters that much, it was a great season to finish off with. The ending just felt a little underwhelming to me.

That's the point though? It would have gone against the previous 9 seasons if it was happy ever after etc.

I would have preferred some sort of a conclusion rather than "back where we started again". That "back to square one" thing happened multiple times during the course of the show, to end it with that, well, it's all right and obviously not an important thing on a show like this, I just would have liked something different.

I wanted a happy ending with something typical arse-ache for them both tacked on at the end. I'm not a fan of this "same as" endings that shows do these days. They feel like a cop out to me.

Wasn't impressed with the final episode particularly. Seemed a little low-key for a finale.

Sad that it's finished. The dinner party episode was the best of this series, as it was mental. Generally felt that the show has tailed off compared to it's earlier series, but that generally happens.

The ending does leave the door open incase they decided to do anything else with it - I'm not holding any real expectations for it though.
