Sounds like United were keen for him to be getting some serious game time under his belt too. I don't know the ins and outs at Brighton but I've seen Bobby Z leading the line a few times so Wilson might slot straight in.

Bobby's been used almost exclusively off the bench, and has done a grand job in the majority of his cameos (even without my Albion-tinted glasses on). It's Hemed who's been struggling a little of late after a decent start, without a goal since September. He's the one in most need of a rest and/or competition for his place and Wilson should hopefully provide that.

Only a month's loan for VLP isn't it? As a third choice option on the flanks until LuaLua returns from injury. It's probably not gonna be a season-defining transfer (thankfully).

Rotherham have signed Midfielder Simon Lenighan from Frickley Athletic of the Northern Premier League.

He wasnt up to Conference Premier Standard when we had him on loan from Harrogate last season. So dont understand this signing at all.

Lenighan was on a rape charge not long back IIRC but it kept being put back.

Anyway, Steve Evans has said that in two weeks Bridcutt will be the best player in the league which is pretty handy considering we're fucking shite.

Blimey. Most effective specialist DM possibly (if he gets anywhere near back to his best), never likely to get much recognition in that role though.

Hope it works out better than the Buckley loan, anyhow. Both produced some superb displays over a number of seasons for us and it'd be a shame if neither looks interested in reviving their careers anytime soon given their best years should be ahead of them still.

I think if you managed to use stem cell research to merge RVLP's pace, Adam Hammill's step-overs and Greg Halford's Twitter feed, you'd have a half decent player.

Blackman is definitely on his way out now that Clarke has left. Clarke was the only person to give him a real run in the team. Would be a good signing for anyone at this level, on his day he is unplayable.

We wouldn't sell Blackman cheap though, and honestly if we got £2.5m+ for him with 6 months on his contract I would be very happy.

Especially as in June most fans would have wanted the club to pay to release him as he had done nothing.
