Despite most of their ages, they were ridiculously out of touch. Glow sticks for 11 year olds fgs. Harsh on David but he was the worst of a terrible bunch.
Didn't defend himself well enough considering they targeted him over the ironing, yes it cost £175 but would he really be expected to know how to iron transfers, if he'd defended himself saying he followed the instructions but he's no expert on iron transfers. Compared to the cock up over Gary's organisation (getting the parents in a panic over the nut but saying hazel nut spread and general stuff) and the other two for the whole nut thing as well and jumped on Charleine for interrupting him when Sugar told her not to I think he would have deflected the attention away from himself.

With the whole ropes course etc, there's not a great deal he can do, he has to make it safe or he risks being liable if he were to do things for the sake of making it fun and a kid potentially getting hurt, so quite possibly the wrong activity being chosen or for the sake of saving a few quid actually have their instructor do it and take yourself out of the firing line.

How Joseph didn't get the whole thing about parents wouldn't be wanting to pay for the bags after they'd agreed a price was comical too. He seemed to take it as a rock solid verbal agreement that the parents would've had to fork over the money.

God they're all idiots aside from Richard. Although he's an arrogant shit he does contain common sense which is much more than can be said for the others, excluding perhaps Vana.

I cringed so much watching that episode.

Selina and Charleine can't win. Selina is a bit rubbish even though she won this week and Charleine is a nasty piece of work when she gets criticised. Gary can't win either. He's too bumbly and lacks common sense. I get the feeling Scott is going to do something stupid at some point which will balls him up as well.

I see Richard, Joseph, Vana and Brett being in it until the end. Brett, despite being a bit of a knob, has been solid throughout. Vana and Richard seem to have the most brains whilst Joseph is the sort of wheeler/dealer that Sugar likes.

David was right to go I thought. I liked him early on but as the weeks have gone on, he's started to look pretty weak.

It pains me to think that one of those spanners is going to get £250,000 investment. Normally you can kind of tell who could be the winner but this year I can't see anybody that seems remotely capable.

Do you mean working class? Not sure he's shown much in the way of wheeling and dealing tbh. Was by far the strongest on that construction/improvements ep or whatever.

I probably used the wrong phrase. His strength lies in selling and he's working class so I just quickly typed the phrase wheeler/dealer which isn't entirely accurate. But yeah, you get the point I think. He's decent but not sure he's a good enough all rounder.

Still, who knows for sure. The Apprentice is so horribly heavily edited that it's difficult to get a real perception. There was one part edited where it looked like Selina was bombarding the 13 year old girl with party suggestions yet you could clearly tell that she hadn't asked them all in a row and it was edited together to make it look that way.

Yeah idk (or care particularly) who's good. I guess Richard seems to know what he's doing but he's also a dick. Only hope Brett doesn't win, he's an absolute toerag. Don't actually mind Charleine, she's funny.

Charlene and Selina should not have got this far.

David wasn't too bad, imo. Wasn't going to win though, so had to go out at some stage I suppose.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
They failed because you can't win a kid's birthday party task by overagressively 'selling' at people.

And that is basically all any of these dicks can do.

Easily one of the best weeks so far, just so laughably bad. Afternoon tea for an 11 year old's party was my personal highlight.

It's really not very hard. It would have been sensible to buy a couple of spare T-shirts in case they went a bit wrong, but there's no excuse for doing it as badly as he did.

I've known plenty of people to have problems with iron transfers, and as for the buying extras incase of going wrong that would have been a decision for Gary, as he was also responsible for cutting off the happy birthday which was another part the parents weren't happy about (albeit the wording the wrong way round).

How do you fuck up a childrens party so badly with 2 grand to play with.

Joe, Vana and Richard seems to be the ones blessed with most common sense, but they are still pretty shit. Richard has manner about him that seems to alienate people, which isn't good in business. Vana is probably might tip to win it but to be honest, it's basically trying to find out which one is least shit

Did I dream last week that in the highlights they made it look as is the mother had been taken to hospital with her nut allergy?

He said in the episode something about that situation hypothetically but not sure if that's what was alluded to in the trailer as I didn't see it.

Don't read if you don't want any firings spoiled

Well Scott and Selina don't win. Selina has been slagging off the show all over twitter and says that she has broken her contract with the show as she won't be appearing on Your Fired when she's fired. Also read an article earlier which says how Scott quits the show at some point. I have a feeling that could be in the next episode going by the trailer at the end of the previous ep. Basically, he gets torn a new one by Sugar and decides that he's had enough and goes. Fair enough I suppose.

Don't think so. She had to wait outside though... (Ffs)

Following the clash, Waterman-Smith said: "I thought it was a credible business show, but I now can see that I was naive." :hesk:

Cabin fever for Scott there;

Understand where he was coming from, walked out on a couple situations before (nowhere near as high pressured though) or threw the towel when the situation gets too tough. He looked like a man who had thought seriously about leaving on the first/second day and then getting the abuse in the boardroom pushed him over the edge.

Celina looks like shes going be hanging around in the media for the next 5 years, expect to see her on Im a celebrity get me out of here in the future :(.

Richard and Vana are the two obvious candidates left, can't see beyond those 2 really.

Yup, am increasingly of the same opinion. Not sure I can really look beyond those two at the moment.

Particularly enjoyed Scott firing himself in that episode although I'm also pleased that they've finally ditched the awful Selina.

Great episode last night. Scott clearly realised his time was up when he couldn't even form a coherent sentence, and I'm also glad to see the back of Selina. Richard and Vana were very impressive last night, possibly the first time this series we've seen people look genuinely competent and professional at what they're doing. Obviously a whole lot depends on business plans, but they're in the strongest position at the moment.

Also agree about Richard and Vana. Still extremely annoyed Charleine is still in. She can sell well but the woman is absolute poison.

Really good episode last night - even the task this week was actually pretty good. It had everything...apart from people who know how to do maths (as usual).

Personally think it's between Joseph, Richard and Vana. I do think Sugar likes Joseph so wouldn't be surprised to see him win. In fact, my gut is saying it will be him or Vana. I can't imagine him working with Richard even if he has been the most consistent.

Charleine won't win. There's always one mouthy one who's fairly competent who gets far but then gets cut down to size in the interviews. Gary is just Mr Average, nothing unique there. Brett is the one I'm a little unsure on but I'm not sure Sugar is a fan.

I think Joseph is a good shout. I'm gonna go with him and Richard in the final.

Gary - only stand-out feature is that he doesn't stand-out

Charleine- what a vile woman. I know everything is heavily edited but my word I'd hate to either work for or with her

Brett- grafter but stubborn as a mule. Couldn't see Lord Sugar wanting to work with him for a second

Vana- formed a great partnership with Richard but just seems a bit boring. Cant see her business plan being unique enough to inspire LS.

Richard- clearly an intelligent guy with a business mind. Now theres fewer people his ego seems to have found room instead of trying to make room.

Jospeh- a grafter and seems to have grown and learnt a lot through the process. Could easily see him getting the prize. LS repeats he isn't here as a mentor but at the same time I do think he can see an unpolished diamond in Joseph who would be receptive to new ideas and continue learning into being a success.

Both teams let down by terrible final products, the crisps being the better of the two. Would've sent Charliene home this week, great seller but a massive flapper. Brett seemed nice but he's too stubborn to be able to run his own business successfully.

Why on earth does Lord Sugar lick Charlene's arse? Didn't say anything but positive things to her in the boardroom despite her utterly disastrous performance not just in this task but in most of the process. She should've gone weeks ago but it seems like Sugar's got a weird thing for her.
