Desperation, I think. They massively overpaid as well. Everyone else had discussed a limit, and I think they went in big and bid maybe £200k more than any other team was prepared to.

Munkiki do what Munkiki do. Which means he's just done something that is basically going to make running this thing about 5000 times easier now.

I always get to come on here and do the glitzy glamoury stuff and get all the "oh nice one Oaf" with these wars games, but fuck me, they'd be nothing without Munkiki behind the scenes working his wizardry. Or well, they'd be a lot less efficient and full of farce. But yes, basically, character offers can now be sorted out with the click of ONE FUCKING BUTTON as opposed to me using a random number generator for each character (7 teams as an example, 5 offers each per week, 45 clicks just to get them...) and then trawling through my list to find each character individually and then copy and pasting them into the PM's.

So yeah. To say it's made things easier is an understatement.

Right, just in case any other people want to sign up...

I'm going to set a deadline for sign ups and setting up your teams now. It will be MIDNIGHT on Monday night. So I'll look to get this thing up and running on Tuesday, probably some time around late morning/early afternoon. Or hell, if I'm around on Monday night at that time, I guess I'll at least get the character offers out that night.

So yeah, try to get teams sorted by then!

Pretty sure Munks was in the SB earlier saying this was totally luck related. It is in regards to decent rolls and character offers.

Knowing when to spend, who to send to battle in any given week, and when to use the special powers and telling a few lies along the way play a big part in this though.
