Nice to have you drop by. I do hope you make it back up (if Dulwich get promoted there's a serious possibility myself and Paddy may be left all alone again in Ryman Prem land). Obviously, I'm discounting the possibility that we might escape this wretched league as someone needs to fulfill the role of glass half empty Ks fan.

Still, if our man McCollin keeps scoring goals for fun who knows. Bagged another brace tonight in a win against W&F. Up to sixth, just outside those playoff places.

I thought our match against ETU was similar in that the scoreline (4-1!) really didn't reflect the balance of play. They looked a good side and they took their chances well but, whereas the general consensus seemed to be that we were well beaten by Dulwich and Hampton, that really wasn't the case against East Thurrock. Still, they look a real threat now - second only by virtue of an inferior goal difference.

Yeah, thats seems to happen sometimes! We beat Harrow 4-0 on saturday and the result really flattered us to be honest; it really hinged on harrow missing couple of decent chances in the first half and very unluckily (but very funnily!) having their keeper sent off early in the second. Whereas, last night we beat Staines 3-1, but should have absolutely put them to the sword. I feel that we might completely obliterate a few teams in the next month or so with the way we're starting to play.

Hopefully so! You lot need to make it up, this division doesn't feel right without a promotion scrap with Dulwich.

Raymond... On last night's showing, I'm surprised if Mr Collin is on £6-7 per week! He was woeful against the Angels who battered Leatherhead 4-0.. and it could and should have been quite a few more but for the agility of the Tanners keeper.

Aberstone...I think East Thurrock are the best team I've seen all season long and they're banging in goals for fun. Wouldn't be surprised to see them pip Hamlet for top spot. It's very tight at the top especially those play-off spots.

East Thurrock are certainly decent team and they have a great goalscorer in Sam Higgins, but in my opinion they don't have the same depth of quality as Dulwich and for that reason I think they'll end up in the play-offs. Still, it's very tight and the top 5 seem to be consolidating their positions. It's going to be a fascinating last third of the season. Perhaps K's or Leiston can break into the top 5?

Hopefully next season, my friend….that is if you don't get promoted!

That tenner I whacked on Bognor to win the league at 20/1 a few weeks back is looking good.

Bognor are a very good side and 20/1 for aside that are thereabouts is quite ridiculously generous!

Some key games coming up in February.

We go to Dulwich on the 27th, and also play The Angels and the "other" Rocks, both at Rookery Hill.
Bognor and Angels both have to go to McCollin inspired Kingston, while the Angels also have a home game against Hampton & R.

Things may look quite different by the end of the month.

BTW, yes Higgo can be lethal, but we are scoring quality goals from all round the park, Lewis Smith and Tom Wraight are both in the Ryman top ten scorers.

Dare we dream ??

Lord McCollin scores an 89th minute winner to secure 3 points in a 2:1 home win over Grays.

6th place & can go level with Dulwich & ETU with our two games in hand. K's are back in with a shout of the title or at the very least play offs.

Forza Kingstonian!

Ventured over to Cherrywood Rd on Saturday for the Angels game. F**k me, Farnboro are woeful. No wonder they are languishing near the bottom. They had IIRC just the one attempt on target which resulted in their goal.

Special award for 'Jobsworth Steward of the Day' goes to the toothless Grizzly Adams look-a-like who asked to see my ticket after I'd got a cup of tea.... even though he watched me walk passed him to the tea bar only 2 minutes earlier and was insistent that I show it to him. Then later on in the game he came over to some of the Angels fans and asked them to step off the yellow hatchings.... it must've been for crowd safety! Donut!

Like Kingstonian, the Angels can go above both Dulwich and ETU if they win their games in hand and have a far superior goal difference to Ks.

Looking tight at the top!

I'm thinking we should buy it off them, I know they're short of cash (as ever). ;)

Our home game originally scheduled for Feb 15th against Bognor has been postponed to Monday 4th April... That's could end up being season defining for both teams.

Our next run of games of February now looks like this:
Sat 13th - Billericay (a)
Sat 20th - Tonbridge (h)
Sat 27th - Needham Market (a)
Mon 29th - Farnborough (h)

After Billericay & Tonbridge we will have a much better idea of where we stack up in the promotion chase

Apparently not! I see bloody Hampton scored in the last minute to level things up against Leatherhead. They remain the team to beat.

Not sure what's going on with Dulwich. Losing at bottom of the table Lewes isn't very encouraging...

Dulwich' last-third-of-the-season collapse in full swing. Eerily reminiscent of 2013/14.

Good set of results for the Angels last night... apart from Hampton pulling a point out of the hat.... their visit to Longmead on the 27th could be an interesting one!

Not sure what's happened to Dulwich of late... losing to both Lewes and VCD within a week, conceding 3 in each game too.... fingers crossed they continue their slump....

My fears are that Bognor will now go on an undefeated run & wrap up the title... but overall, here's my (90% guesswork 10% optimism) predictions for the top 5:

1 - Bognor
-------------------
2 - Hampton
3 - Tonbridge
4 - Dulwich
5 - Kingstonian

Then of course we will win the Dowson derby before dispatching those Hipsters or Sutton-United-in-Kent in the final

Not a bad shout Paddy.... but IMHO I think Bognor will falter (plus they have extra games in the Trophy to contend with).

I'll go for:

1. Hampton
2. Tonbridge
3. Dulwich
4. Kingstonian
5. Bognor

The Angels will dispatch Bognor with ease (well, we did beat them 5-0 at their place so surely that counts for something *joking*) and then the K's (after a gruelling extra time and then penalties win against the hipsters) can travel to Stad de Longmead in front of a full-house to see the Angels triumph 4-3 with a late late goal. Stranger things have happened.

Part of me wants the Angels to succeed this season and take the step up to CS again.... but as you can see from the badge opposite <<<< they may well be facing my home-town club next season.... now where's that thread about half-n-half scarves?

Hope the above answers your question DSL? Last image isn't necessary, but I'd like to boast about how I called the league winners in the Isthmian 3 years running.

Yes if I was a betting man (which I hasn`t to add I am no) Id put my money on Bognor. Consistently shown themselves capable of beating sides from a higher division and in strong form. Only downside is there have a lot of games to fit and their away form isnt the best. Still expect them to win it.

I'd not get too excited about Bognor tbh. Yes, that's a superb run of form (and I know they've had some impressive cup wins) but it does include home wins vs Needham Market, VCD and Lewes, all struggling outfits. Their form prior to that was rather iffy.

Still looks like no one wants to win the title...

Dulwich tied with Fuckedborough, Beavers tied with Hendon. ETU & Tonbridge both gain pace with a win. K's tied at Bill & Ricky.

Considering all the ''hype'' i'm struggling to see why so many league clubs were after Dan Sweeney....to say hes been underwhelming would be an understatement!! dont recall him doing anything of use in the games i seen so far

Club are the top scorers nationally in the top levels of non-league football.

Have the leading scorer in the Ryman premier, and three of the top nine.

Have scored four times or more in thirteen competitive league and cup games this season.

Have failed to score on just one occasion all season.

Maybe someone just might start taking us seriously.

Having watched ETU a couple of times this season they look like they will score for fun, real full on attack minded team, anyone who can keep them to 1 or even no goals will have done amazingly.
