Wigan only took 612 to Barnsley this season but time of year and that. It is probably the worst following when miles and things are considered by Wigan all season. I think the home attendance was a couple of thousand down that normal that day to wasn't it?

Looking good Barnsley for a play off push. Be interesting if you need a win and we need a win to go up when we next meet on the last game. That could attract a decent crowd.

Yes the stand holds 4,500. Straight away the first 3 rows were sectioned off. The picture cuts off the right hand side, which was exactly the same as the far left block, almost empty. Then you've got the fact that all 5 of the blocks with fans in have clear areas where there are empty seats, and they're obvious even when everyone is standing up. 1600 looks right to me. We usually section off the blocks to the right of the goal. We could have done that again yesterday and comfortably accommodated those to the right of the picture in the 3 1/2 blocks on the left. I'm not really sure why we didn't do that again, would have kept their "lads" easily controlled away from our "lads" in the paddock.

Fair enough , personally myself feel like their was around 2k , but I'm not one to argue about turnouts , if it's 1600 it's 1600

Still a good following for a sunday and given your current form, but when fans are all standing it does make a stand look a lot fuller than it actually is.

Couldn't believe we got the point tbh , main thing is we stopped the rot and have a platform now to build from again

i mean what are away crowds like in the lower leagues in Germany Italy Spain ect ?

Even in Spains top tier its usually about 150-200 fans as away fans rarely travel... but the third tier in all those countries would be minimal, even the home crowds are tiny.

Germany is known for having real hardcore football fans though, e.g Dortmund

I know yes i was just answering his question about what support is like in other countries. Spain and italy are awful for example real madrid took 20 fans to granada yday yes 20 fans. Although thousands of locals in the home end who support real.

I would be surprised if they are charged anywhere near what we are though. That is why it is fantastic how well some of the teams down here travel. Add to that stupid train prices etc.

Exactly, some Bundesliga teams have cheaper pricing than our League Two teams.

More or less all gone for Burton away now. Haven't made general sale...buzzing someone has sorted our tickets out or else I wouldn't have had a sniff!

Gonna be a great day on the beer and hopefully a walsall win

1st away trip?

Nah, only have 1 away booking this season and no home bookings as Geosaddler did the Chelsea tickets. Ocasionally work Saturdays so can't justify a season ticket and the Burton tickets have gone to ST holders and people with a home and away booking this season. My own fault really, got very lazy just walking up to the ground for years and years.

Absolutely wank, I'm going to have to be in the home end.

Was always gonna be a nuisance this fixture. I had tickets more or less sorted in the home end until my mate got lucky.

Few in the home ends for sure

I'm not going to be stupid enough to reveal my plan/back up plan for the game as I'm sure if word gets round enough Burton will clamp down, but yeah, 99% sure I have tickets for the game. It's my own fault for being so lazy, I could have ordered tickets for a whole host of home games this season, just to have back up and be sure for things like this game. Unfortunately, I haven't and have been lazy just paying on the gate all season, I only have a Shrewsbury/Crewe away booking too, which doesn't fit the criteria.

Oh well. Should be there still, just not in the end I want to be in!

Can't say I ever buy tickets in advance if I go, always cash on the turnstile.

Rarely a problem following walsall but do come unstuck sometimes, especially with the smaller away ends.

Sold 1400 for Blackpool with the game being a month away.

Apparently we are only being given 2400?
