Deontay Wilder very ragged against Szpilka, but damn, what a shot to end it. Classy from Wilder at the end though, beginning to warm to him a bit. Fury making an absolute arse of himself in the ring at the end fucking classless twat.

Fury is hilarious, had a feeling he'd turn up there. Wilder can punch/windmill no question but his chin is made of pure china. I see Fury winning and probably by KO, his ring IQ is too much for Wilder to handle. I suspect he would have Wilder a mental wreck by the time they got into the ring anyway.

That I don't doubt but I like Wilder, seems like a genuinely nice bloke who is just good in the ring. Not a robot like Klitchko or a lunatic like Fury, though it did seem that Fury really got in his head at the end, whether it was adrenaline from the fight still, but Fury definately got to him. But for Fury to jumo in the ring and start shouting and hollering whilst Szpilka is still being strechered out shows what an utter bell-end he really is.

Fury just gave a pretty funny interview on TalkSport. He said he'd rather bin his belts than give David Haye another chance. Haye was on shortly after and shrugged off the comment. Haye seems focused on Joshua, which would be huge.

How soon do you think Haye gets the Joshua fight? He (Haye) surely has to fight another couple of bums before getting a shot....?

Haye v Joshua would be very, very explosive. Haye probably beats him for me on account of being more experienced and quite smart in the ring, and able to stick to an established game plan. It's the kind of fight that could end very quickly though as well, if either land clean it's goodnight Vienna. I don't think AJ's people put him in with Haye yet though, a fight with Chisora for the European is probably the next step, then possibly Helenius. I don't think fighting anymore tin cans would be good for Joshua. After the tilt with Whyte the only way to go is up in class

Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, has come out and said Haye is not the objective. He expanded that he thought Anthony was capable of taking on the bigger names but it'd be unfair on him to rush his development for some big coin now. He wants to remain the course.

Haye is shit out of luck for a big fight for a while. He might get a shot at Whyte.

Haye vs Whyte could be a good scrap, both similar in size and if Haye can get Whyte out of there quicker than Joshua did I reckon a fight between the two could happen.

Agree with a lot of what BJS says here, I don't rate him as highly as some but I do think he would be the "slickest" opponent GGG has fought to date. He should be allowed a few defences first I think before a massive fight like that. I don't see him winning in any case but GGG is on a mission to claim all belts. His team have always said he would fight in the UK if necessary.

Absolutely buzzing for that fight. Alvarez is class. This will test whether Khan is ready for the elite level. I think Canelo beats him.

Canelo hits harder than Danny Garcia. I think Khan is iced inside 8

Ah yes, this'll be for the unofficial 155lb Caneloweight world title.

That's a massive fight but it'll be ridiculous, Khan is giving away an enormous weight advantage. Canelo will come into the ring at 170lbs+ on fight night. Great fight for him though, big pay day and no-one thinks he will win. Meanwhile Kell Brook is still fighting bums in Sheffield Arena...

Oh yeah fair play to Khan for taking the fight. Contrary to what people are saying, I don't think it's a career killer when Khan loses - especially if he shows a lot of spirit

Yeah fair play to him, but he's getting sparked out.

Mental week.

First Khan fighting Canelo, then Jazza Dickens gets himself a fight with Rigondeaux in Liverpool and Adam Etches is seemingly gonna fight Kovalev in Moscow.

I'm finding the Khan vs Canelo fight really quite interesting.

Canelo is the favourite, and rightfully so. He will come into the fight at about 175lbs and Khan will come in at around 160, where I think he'll be most comfortable. He walks around at around that sort of weight day to day. Khan is a superb boxer and Canelo isn't the best at cutting off the ring (though he had a bit of success against Lara) but sometimes being the better boxer isn't always enough. If Khan can use his exceptional jab and foot speed then he has a good chance at outboxing Canelo, whilst he's not a particularly big puncher, his body shots should slow him down a bit. That's how he'll win.

Canelo could just bully Khan though, he's a big guy and will be a good 15lbs heavier on fight night and he's got a great dig on him, I can see him putting Khan on his arse by the fifth. The first few rounds will be quite cagey. If Khan gets in and out, keeps moving and avoids getting tagged he's got a legit chance. Otherwise I can't look past a Canelo stoppage.

I just don't rate Amir's ring IQ. He's thick as shit. For that reason he'll put up a brave effort but he's getting knocked the fuck out. He hasn't got it in him to fight off the back foot for 12 rounds against someone like Canelo.

I'm amazed Frank Warren has managed to get Rigondeaux over here, what a coup. Another big fuck you to Matchroom, they've had an awful week :box:

Hopefully Rigo is testing the UK waters ahead of him facing the winner of Quigg/Frampton, love to see that over here as it would be massive.

Unfortunately I don't think it is that big. If Rigo was a draw he wouldn't be fighting on the undercard of a show in Manchester.

As soon as Canelo lands, whether it be head or body, it's game over for glass-jawed Khan.

Khan is in boxing for the money, not the titles. That's why he's opted for Canelo IMO.

He probably also has some warped logic that if he miraculously beats Canelo it will
tempt Mayweather to fight him for the 50-0. All that'll happen is Canelo will blow him away and he'll be free to drop back down to WW, claim the weight jump was simply to much, and begin chasing Brook for the next big money fight.

As for Brook, I'm a massive fan but his inactivity and the way he's being managed by Hearn is pissing me off. I've no doubt that Brook will fight anyone, I'm just not sure whether it's a combination of Hearn's negotiation tactics or opponents not fancying it that's resulting in his lack of top class matchups, but he needs a name. Soon.

Would love to see a Garcia v Brook unification.

I don't rate Garcia much. He has a padded resume mainly full of shot, finished fighters and Khan is actually his best win.

David Haye has just tweeted that AJ will be fighting IBF World Champion Charles Martin in April.

I'd say it's too soon to be fighting for a world title but you'd expect him to win. If he did, you'd want a couple of easy defences to continue his development.

Hearn himself said its still only at the talks stage. Haye is just cosying up to Hearn/AJ - hence the compliments - to try and ensure he's one of the first challengers in line.

For what it's worth, if they were to fight tomorrow - AJ & Haye that is - Haye knocks him out cold.

AJ needs more fights before taking on someone as dangerous as Haye.

How is announcing AJ's next fight "cosying up" to Eddie Hearn? That's only going to piss him off, surely?

If Martin he didn't hold this title then people would be saying it's another routine AJ win and part of the building up process, but because it's for a world title there's a bit of trepidation. I don't know why, this is not some great HW he's up against. He took 10 rounds to put away that hopeless Zumbano Love bloke that Joshua fought last year. It was a nonsense bout against Glazkov too, who quit after a couple of rounds because he didn't know how to throw a punch without falling over and hurting his knee. And then he couldn't quit fast enough when the ref asked him if he was ok to continue, handing Martin the paper title.

Fair point MD. But I'd rather see AJ beat one of the proper world champions, this seems like a bit of a cop out.

I should have been more clear. It was more about Haye's next tweet about how Hearn has done such a good job in guiding AJ's career to an IBF title bout already.
