Sheff United filling Donny's stadium despite their fans constantly moaning about being shite (again), Coventry selling roughly the same amount for Blackpool as they used to get at Sixfields, a MONTH IN ADVANCE no less. Even Walsall fans are invading Burton's home ends in their droves.

League One, showing the mincers in the Championship thread what proper support is.

I don't blame you lot. £22 at our morgue is a rip off.

Dont think the price has anything to do with it. Were not very good at the minute and its another tuesday night

800 sold for Crewe Saturday with pay on the day available. I'd be surprised if we didn't hit 1,200 and there's a half decent chance we could push 1,500.

Our home support is wank, always will be, predominantly always has been. Well over 1,000 of our fans won't return to home games until Bonser leaves and frankly, they are so distant and have got so out of the pattern of watching our games, they will never return - ever. We would genuinely struggle to average 5k home fans in the Championship. Such is where we are at.

However, our away support holds up well. Crewe will be something like our 6th 1k+ away following this season and we tend to average quite well away from home when compared to our home support. Can't knock it.

Many clubs like you with a good home to away ratio. I never would say i admire clubs fans like yours because you support where your from but i respect it cos getting in the 2nd division is a high point in a way were becoming the same

If we're being honest Leeds only sell out games because it's the only thing they've got. Their teams' shite, their managers' shite, their club is shite. None of them actually want to go to Ipswich on a Thursday night, but they've got to keep up appearances. Know what I mean?

1856 officially sold out for Burton...I didn't realise being this huge could be so much fun.

We had over 2k there should be another 150odd available and tbh it wasnt even that full at all could get way more in.

Reason been perhaps we are selling all our tickets so expect a near full house which is 6900, perhaps they have reduced your allocation due to a higher home gate

What's that got to do with anything? Even in the league two winning season we only averaged 5,000 at home but over 1,000 away from home. Big followings like 2,000 at Torquay, 2000 at shrews, 4,000 at notts county, 3500 at Swindon. Still wank home turnouts though. Massively struggle to get the attention of the town in all fairness.

Oldham I think are often the best ratio wise. You've got your core 3,000-4000 and it doesn't go up too much from that.

We would definitely get over 5,000 home fans in the championship. I think we are averaging about 4,500 now. I don't think there's as many stay aways as people make out either. Few hundred maybe spiting themselves anyway right now.

Agree about away support, always been good took a big dip past few years (even when we were really league two early 90s shit it weren't as bad as its been under smith/Hutchins/Mullen)

...........and who wants to go to Elland Road, with a nutcase for an owner, and paying through the nose for the privilege whether or not you have a pie?

It's not a thirty minute journey and given how crap we are it's not too shabby.

It is on the train. Ballache coming back though having to change at derby. About 50mins in the car tops. I know when we went i saw the final whistle and was back in my local for about 10.30 ish. But i suppose youre doing shite so prob a bit harsh on my point its probably an average following.

We took more in the JPT the first time we went and I doubt we've took fewer in the league before there. Would have been 500 more had it been tomorrow mind and either way they don't deserve that support given the way the playing side has been destroyed.

You could easily be talking about Bury here Saddlerrad.
Our away support is very good when you compare it to our home numbers.
Big city on the doorstep and the 'sit in the pub in my replica shirt' brigade keep the numbers down for us.

Your home numbers are shit compared to your away support. Look at it that way instead.
