I am watching 2 things at the moment. I am onto the second series of The Wire (yes, I know I am very far behind) and also the second series of Mr Robot.

Enjoying both, just never know what one to watch!

I'm on season 2 of Mr Robot. Season 1 was very up and down for me but season 2 has been very solid so far, each episode has had me hooked.

At amazon (.com, .co.uk, .de) /pilotseason you can actually watch 3 Pilots of planned amazon-series. If they get enough votes then amazon will make a series of it (like they've done it with "Bosch" or "Man in the High Castle" for example)

The 3 pilots are:

- Jean Claude Van....Johnson (starring Jean Claude Van Damme as an ex-retired Movie star/Agent)
- I love Dick (a bit ambigious title it seems? starring Kevin Bacon)
- The Tick (this should be a "superhero-comedy"?)

Actually I've only watched "Jean Claude van Johnson" so far. JCVD takes the mickey out of himself here. I liked it, nothing new but I haven't seen JCVD for a long time so I would be pleased if this pilot would make it into a full season.

Here's a link for the amazon.co.uk side (the other ones are similar, just change the URL to your country)
You can watch it without being a member of amazon-prime

Coming towards the end of season 5 Game of thrones, one of the best things I've watched since Breaking Bad, loving it and not looking forward to being caught up!

Finally decided to watch GoT. Upto the start of S3 now. Couple of storylines are quite boring but on the whole it's excellent. Not binging either, as I'll be more prepared for that break next year.

You've got a lot to look forward too, just finished season 6 yesterday and gutted I've got to wait another year to see season 7! Anyone watched Walking Dead think I might give that a go?

Been watching Vice Principals as of late. It's delightfully fantastic. Danny McBride and Walton Goggins are great together in this. Highly recommended from myself.

I watched Battle Bots last night, kind of a US version of Robot Wars. Some very destructive robots, as expected from the yanks, but definitely a show thats better to record and playback rather than watch live as they only manage 4x3min fights in an hours show.

Watched the pilot episode of "The night of" on Sky box sets. Very compelling crime drama. About a good little mozlem boy in the U.S who gets caught up in an unusual sequence of events that consequently implicates him as the prime suspect of a murder case.

I was going to watch this as well, so think I will get it on record and watch a few episodes in a row.

Still getting through The Wire. Weird watching the first series, watching them use pay phones and pagers. Half way through series 3 and really enjoying it.

Watched that too, has enough going for it to make me watch more.

tried to watch the wire after everyone praised it so highly, have to say I'm not sure what the fuss is about, it just seemed like a bog standard cop show, and now a very dated one, perhaps it got much better and perhaps I should have stuck with it.

if a show hasn't got lots of twists and turns or mystery about it I lose interest. probably why I don't tend to watch many drama's.

The wire is definitely a slow (like rly fucking slow to begin with) burner. It picks up in the second half of the (1st) season though.

Will be starting on the second season some time soon.

You don't need to let a few episodes build up, they've made the whole series available to watch on boxsets straight away.
I watched the first episode last night and although it was quite slow paced I found it a good watch and am interested in where it's going in the next few episodes. As I'm off work this week I might try to get the whole thing watched by the end of the weekend.

Finished watching stranger things today considering all the hype it got.

It was good but that's only because it peaks your curiosity but it is a bit weird and parts don't really make sense.

They start a little slow but pick up pace. Series 3 is getting really good. The more you watch, the less dated it gets as you can see their technology getting better so it feels more normal to me.

Just watched the first episode of National Treasure. Robbie Coltrane plays an ageing comic who is accused of rape from many years ago.

Quite bleak but I'm hooked.

A guid dram
National Treasure with Robbie Coltrane playing a famous comedian who gets accused of historical underage rape allegations. Topical and deliberately vague as to whether or not he did it, and that raises issues like with what happened with Gambachinni, John Leslie (his accusations weren't of underage stuff though) and a few others who were innocent, and how its a trial by media which automatically assumes guilt; or if he is guilty then all the stuff that brings with it too, like Saville and Hall, and how they got away with it.

Only two episodes in out of a four-parter, and it also has a good touch of him having a grown-up daughter who is unhinged with mental problems, perhaps caused by her childhood, and that gives it an extra dimension.

Worth a watch.

Currently watching "The Get Down" which is alright although personally I'd rather have more stuff about the actual music and movement rather than the side stories.

Waiting to start season 4 of The Wire. The first 3 seasons have been utterly amazing.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
I'm halfway through the second series of Last Man on Earth. Post apocalyptic cringe-comedy. Just going to start on Parks and Recreation.
