Klopp : “If somebody thinks being one point ahead after 11 match days is a big sign for the rest of the season then I can’t help this person”

Keeping it cool Jurgen, what a guy! :D

I like Liverpool's squad, I'm a Klopp fanboy, and I like the majority of their posters on here. In most seasons, if Arsenal aren't winning, or a Leicester story isn't an option, I want it to be Liverpool.

But G-Dragon makes me question this. He's the BusbyBoy of this generation, minus the blatant homophobia from what I have observed.

Some people were questioning Klopp after a few months of being in charge as the results at times were below par but you could see the intent of how he wanted his team to play but the execution has taken some time. It seems he's learnt what his best team and formation is this season and he's a good character to have and gets the best out of above average players.

I'd actually say he's got us over performing this season so far and I'm still sure well fuck it up one way or another but the more this run of good form goes on the more confidence Klopp is installing into the fans. I seem to recall him saying when he first came here that the supports don't believe, and it's his job to turn it around and make them believe - something along those lines anyway. Hopefully he can prove it.

This^^

Been a great season so far but i'm sure we'll fuck it up, somehow. I absolutely love Klopp's style and it's very clear to see that the attitude of both the team & the fans has changed over the past few months. My only concern is whether or not we will be able to keep up this intensity especially as the games keeps piling up around Christmas. If we're still close to the top after the new year then i'll really start believing but until then, expecting failure it is:animatedf:

Everyone in Germany—to outsiders it was Leicester lite—speculated BVB would fall apart in the first of the back-to-back title seasons. They did, four seasons later...sans Lewandowski, Gotze, etc. Bayern were in a transition phase, and the quality of BVB's rivals wasn't on par with the current iterations of Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, etc., but I do think Klopp has the ability to sustain a squad's motivation and intensity. Depth will be the problem this season. BVB had a better defense, too. I think they conceded something like 20 goals over the 34 game season.

My influence in here...

I think he was specifically talking about G-Dragon at that point.
Anyways, Klopp said "We need to turn doubters into believers." Looks like i am the only believer in here...rest still the same pussy doubters!

Liverpool undefeated in 13 in all competitions now. Klopp has certainly brought in a lot of belief this season.

That doesn't mean anything, we're unbeaten in 19 and playing shite.

Yeah, thanks Smat. Without such insight I wouldn't have realised being unbeaten isn't necessarily an indication of quality.

I was mainly talking (in my head at least) about a belief and consistency that hasn't been there since the Suarez era. We've really struggled for any form of consistency in the last few campaigns, even last season under Klopp was no different in that respect. We could play superbly and beat the best teams, then be utter shite and get beaten easily by relegation candidates the following week. I thought after the Burnley result we would have more of the same this campaign but it appears to be a one off, thankfully. We've been a little ragged the last few games due to fatigue and injuries, but hopefully that will be a short term thing.

Need Lallana back though, and quickly.

Thought it was a nice gesture. Clearly you don't think so. What a sad person you are smh.

You're absolutely right. Let's keep an eye on the other fixtures this week. I bet Jose, Arsene et al won't let their players wear black armbands. The selfish pricks. Thank god Klopp has a bit of class.

Don't be so hard on G-Dragon, he thought there was a moral trophy to be won and went for it. Bless.

OMG! Forgot there are other teams in the league too! Since everyone does it who cares about it right? Wearing black armbands are meaningless! Lets ban them.

All you've done is underline the fact it isn't a maverick gesture.

Klopp post match interview after than defeat was class. Oh and this..
Klopp: "No problem with Karius. If you make mistakes you get criticised. I'm sure somebody has criticised Jamie Carragher in his career."

Carragher is a bellend and i agree Klopp can be funny with his post match comments, but its becoming a bit boring and predictable he is turning into Harry Redknapp and about as successful.

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
Although I don't come on very often nowadays I've noticed that G Dragon gets subjected to a fair bit of stick, which he probably deserves. However, this thread is about Klopp and he merely typed a post how nice it was that when Lucas asked him if he could wear a black armband Klopp said they all would. What's wrong with that? It's a thread about Klopp. Don't think it warranted the (kneejerk?) opprobrium it got to be fair.

I support Liverpool and am a huge fan of Klopp but I'm getting increasingly tired of some fans/journalists climbing over each other to talk him up every time he does or says anything even remotely positive.

It wasn't a personal dig at G-Dragon.
